Endsleigh is no more
As someone who worked there for 15 years (before being punted to move everything to Cheltenham) it’s sad to see the brand name go, albeit inevitable after being bought and sold on many a time.

Bah.
Boooooo.
Worst news since we lost Marathon to "Snickers".
Boycott "Howden".
Bring back Engsleigh.

Re: Endsleigh is no more
Fun fact but I think Endsleigh sponsored the Burnley kits back in the early 80s

Re: Endsleigh is no more
Went for a job at Endsleigh when I was at College, didn't get the gig as the last question was as he handed me the worst half chewed biro you have ever seen, still with saliva on it.... "Sell me this pen."
I failed to find any words that improved the appeal of this twisted piece of plastic with a cord of ink running through it.
Of course, had a I watched QVC or something similar I would have stood a chance....
A very odd moment, but looking back a great turning point in my life.
Cheers Endsleigh, other than the legendry Ribero shirt, can't say I'll miss them. Sorry to anyone who has lost their jobs with this of course.

Re: Endsleigh is no more
I love that it's that ridiculous fancy dress day you bring up haha!
For the rest of the forum - me and Hopey were mainstayers of the Endsleigh call centre in Burnley.
Most knew somebody that did a stint there and we often took over Smacks on a Thursday/Sunday night then had our best selling days the day after... for some reason!!

Sell me this pen. 'You've raped someone. This pen has your saliva, therefore DNA on it. I'll hand it in to the police unless.....mybloodisclaret wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2024 9:12 pmWent for a job at Endsleigh when I was at College, didn't get the gig as the last question was as he handed me the worst half chewed biro you have ever seen, still with saliva on it.... Re: Endsleigh is no more
Some weird folk worked there, prancing around in full suits from Burton as though they were CEO’s.
