What sort of team do Brighton put out. Are they local development players or young talents they have brought in from abroad?

The names were British names other than one.

I really think that's the best I've seen us this season. It was made even better given that we were playing a strong Cat 1 club too.

Enjoyable 90 mins. Struggled to get a foothold early on but then improved as the half went on. Good to be able to put faces to names I've read about. The midfield worked well, Healey- Byrne a very tenacious full back and a special mention for Joe Westley who also began the game quietly but grew into it causing all sorts of problems for their defence with intelligent and tireless runs.

First half should have been 3-0 up, Ryan at left wing was extremely greedy twice when creating good space, could have squared it for 2 tap ins but chose to shoot instead.

Bauress is going to learn so much from Jack Cork to

Just got home ... 4 seasons in one day ... saw a team give everything on the pitch ... had a good laugh with folk in the BL stand and a good win for the lads ... great day out (eventually after the season card debacle and stairways taped off, Stewards became amenable after we pointed out to get out for loos etc, that we would have to negotiate 30+ full seats or move down the steps adjacent that were taped off, a kind word goes a long way, and hat off to the chief Steward I and others spoke to).

So a grand day out, now for a glass of Red and a steak dinner 👍

Clearly an enjoyable team to watch judging by the positive comments Nice for those present to see goals and a win and a clean sheet against one of the top U21 teams

The club has put a bit of money into this, looks like it might be paying off...I hope so.

That's a cracking result and, by the sounds of it, performance. I don't know how many changes Brighton made to their usual team but there must have been some quality in their team.

I wondered this so have just looked.

7/11 that beat Palace 10 - 0 started. One starter that game was Solly March.

5/6 of the midfield / forwards played, 2/4 of the back four, different keeper.

Also looked at their prior game and there were changes for that too. Doesn’t look like they fielded a weak team, more a that they rotate a bit.

Is Jack Cork involved with the U-21's , if so it seems to coincide with some brilliant performances by our youngsters

Jack got the biggest cheer today when he walked across the pitch 👍

Well done lads. For the first 10 mins, Brighton looked on another level.

Then once we came into the game, the lads looked the stronger side.

Really enjoyed it. Both full backs excellent plus No 6 linking everything up. Played with zeal and lots of bravery. Mention for McDermott too, could go far

First time I've watched the U-21's thought they played really well. Liked the look of the number 8 and 10, and really liked the number 9 he got stuck in to the Brighton back line.

Really enjoyed the game and a different perspective being in the Bob Lord on the front row.

Thought they were two well matched teams with both Keepers pulling off quality saves to keep it competitive. At the end I thought the scoreline was fair with the Clarets deserving the 2-0 win.

Any more U21 games due to be played on the Turf?

Always subject to change. The home games against Ipswich and Charlton were initially on the Turf and moved to Gawthorpe at reasonably short notice, but the next one scheduled is at the end of the month. I try to keep up with the venues on the fixture list.

Really enjoyed the game, the lads played really well, with plenty of confidence, and we saw more shots on goal, than from the first team this season!
