Unbeleivable miss at the end.

Trafford needs to claim that and make sure Esteve hears him bellow for it.

Yes, I think he's done alright in his stints. Much better than I thought he'd be.

It’s quite obvious that was implying that a match thread should be for comments about the match not about the team or club which are covered in other threads. Does that need to be spelt out?
That is the full time whistle, Casper needed a slice of luck in that second half but didn't get it . Make no mistake there will be tears in that house tonight

Probably deserved the win despite them having a number of chances to score.

We look slightly more comfortable and gaining confidence. That is how to build a season. All good, really.

It was a comment that the team needed to do better , similar to yourself.

It's another game where we've looked solid but unspectacular and there's rightly going to be more commentary about the lack of chances created.

If you're not going to create many then you damn sure better put away the ones you do get and today that's been the difference to the other games.

I'm pleased with the performance really. They're a physical side, and we stood up to them well. I don't think anyone had a bad game but in particular

CJ
Cullen
Laurent
Antony
Flemming

I thought were spiffing.

I think we've got the framework of a very good side and I'm hopeful as our injured attackers start coming back we'll start to look a bit more threatening.

Solid performance, even the Wednesday commentator has just said Burnley were far better.

Another clean sheet and 3 away points.

Even with a chronic injury list we have a squad / team that is so difficult to breakdown.

Praise for Laurent and Egan-Riley.

2nd half performance was probably the most controlled all season, definitely going in the right direction ,underrated guys like CJ,Humphreys and Laurent all showing that they’re up for it.

Much better balance in midfield and Flemming a real upgrade on Foster, and at least it gives the one thing Brownhill does do well.

Don’t say it out loud…

There’s people that will genuinely think that on this board. Others that still feel they should be given all the luxuries and insight of a board member without paying into the club!

Absolutely, who'd have thought an optional activity would be so tormenting. If my wife annoyed me as much I'd divorce her

Perfect away performance from Parkers Burnley.

Kept it tight first half and scored from their mistake. The midfield got up and supported the striker more in the 2nd half and could have ended up with 4 or 5.
Our players will keep improving but I'm not sure other teams will allow as much space for our midfield to run into.

Not to be too negative because it's a solid side. But I must say everytime I see our starting line up come out i can't help but feel a sense of disappointment that we have become a team of bog standard championship players so quickly.

I believe in being fair. How do you correlate the above assertion with today's second half performance?

Sorry are you trying to criticise a feeling here?
I just feel a bit deflated at the moment when I see our line up. It's quite a common feeling after relegation.
Didn't realise I had to justify that to someone who thinks opinions shouldn't be allowed on a messageboard.

As I said, it's a solid but unexciting team at the moment which is exactly what I saw today. We played pretty well 2nd half but didn't create a barrel load of chances and still gave away a couple.of big chances to the opposition. It was far from a walkover.

Special mention for Egan Riley for me today

He needed games - confidence and support which he had today with out some of the turf moor groans that can set players back and make them think twice to make brave choices.

Love seeing a crowd underdog come good

Away end was quality today

This team will be far from unexciting as the games go on …

This team is still very new and you can see things coming together

Top of the league with the best goal difference and haven’t conceded in 6 hours

Every single one of us would have taken that at the start of the season
