Rememberance Day.
Didn’t see the start of the game today was late switching on but was wondering if we had the usual Last Post and poppy wreaths prior to kick off? I could see we didn’t have poppies on our shirts. Most other clubs have done this today.

We are at home on November 10th. I presume we will mark armistice then.

Re: Rememberance Day.
Seems a bit odd to me that teams would be marking Remembrance Day today, (in October!), when the vast majority of teams will have a home game closer to November 11th
Not only are there games on the next 2 weekends, but there's also round of midweek matches in between and a lot of Div1 & 2 teams play on the 12th and 13th.

No, it's always the 11th, but I guess you're referring to Remembrance Sunday.
Re: Rememberance Day.

Re: Rememberance Day.
I saw some observing it today when I watched highlights on TV so I'm assuming that those clubs must be away for the next two weekends.
Personally, I think they should do it on the appropriate weekend (two weeks time) and it doesn't really matter if you are at home or away.

Agree entirely with Tony. Remembrance Day Should be acknowledged on or as near to the day as possible, and if that means you are away from home then so be it.
