I mentioned the Roberts, Anthony, Hannibal triangle on Saturday. Hannibal not as good tonight but Roberts and Anthony could be gold at this level.

Great goal. No doubt, they've had a little review at HT and come out with more intent.
Super play all round, but special praise to Roberts for his gut-busting overlap and pull back.

After 16 games it's still the same old same old. I don't want to knock Parker, but he's the manager, he's the only one who can change it. Going out playing the same way, but hoping for a different outcome is madness.

It's a simple question. Which of these players aren't doing what they are supposed to be doing? If he knows who they are they need dropping to the bench, or a run in the U21s until they get it right.
If they are all doing what they are supposed to, he needs to question himself.

Halfway through that we score, get in........but it doesn't alter the questions.

Do we sit back and defend for 40 minutes now, or actually try and score a 2nd?

Why is everything so black & white? Cut & dry? It's not! We're a Champ club and our players are limited, and are not robots. Changes don't just come in & make the right effect. But that's what you expect! Stop analysing every minute of a half and every mistake made. Footballers make mistakes and don't always do what they should; it doesn't mean they should be dropped. We're high up the table, if you didn't notice, and I'd imagine most of doing as they should be. We're doing just fine.

Such a bizarre take though (You're not on your own), you need to really think about what you are moaning about... We aren't losing games, we are dominating games, conceding hardly any goals, I'm struggling to see what he's getting wrong at all

Should be more open now that Coventry have to push to get something from the game.
It'll be interesting to see if we can get in behind, especially down the right.
Hopefully we won't sit back and sit on a one goal lead.

Yeah, agree. It's the style over substance issue. I remember everyone was delighted last season... (cough cough) with a slightly better style but absolutely no substance. This season we have substance but no proper style. I guess it depends what you want from your team. Winning is enough for me. I'm a fan, not a customer craving for entertainment.

Score a goal then drop deep and give up all possession then drop like flies to try milk the clock.

So predictable and boring.

20 minutes in Coventry keeper sat down for feck all and both teams ran over for instructions.
20 minutes 2nd half Trafford sits down for feck all……………….
Needs addressing, either introduce a 2 minute break or make them play on. Some will say you can’t play on with the keeper down. I say play on they are not dying.

Ill agree when it comes to Trafford's weekly, 2nd half rub down. I hope SP is not promoting that behavior.

That said, winning is never boring.

It isn't every minute, or every mistake. I expect us to be pro active in attack, and in creating opportunities. Instead it's so negative, and safety first, we regularly have 65% possession and create next to nothing. The opportunities are there to make something happen, we just don't take them on and it is boring and frustrating, and self defeating.
The players are good enough, teams with far less quality than us create more chances, and score more goals it's our negativity in the final third that kills us.
