Teamcard

Post by cl40 » Sat Nov 30, 2024 11:49 am

At the beginning of the season I purchased something from the club shop thinking I had around £20 on my team card from previous purchases. At the counter they apologised and said the points hadn't been transferred over yet from the old card. I just paid and thought I'd use the points next time I purchased something.

I've just been in to the club shop to purchase a few items for Christmas and the I got to the counter the points still weren't on my card. I was told there was an issue with all the old teamcard points and if I went to the ticket office they would sort it out. I went to the ticket office and they said they couldn't sort it out there, I had to email them!

As well as the above farce I'm just wondering how many people have been deprived of their old teamcard points due to this issue, I'm sure the majority of people don't question how many points they have on their card?

Just another example of how the club seem to struggle with these type of things. I've also just logged into my account to see how many loyalty points I have and it's no longer showing my loyalty points but my sons, so I've no way of seeing my points or purchasing tickets myself without adding myself to my sons account!

Not sure what you mean by transferring from an old card. I’ve had my TeamCard for over ten years and nothing has ever been transferred.

Same here I’ve never heard of this before until this season when they mentioned points transferring over. I just presumed it was a new system.

The club shop and ticket office know about this issue, maybe it’s just certain accounts.

A similar thing happened to me when I bought a small item for my grandson on a matchday and when I asked how much was on my card it was 40p !!!! The amount ascribed to my new purchase, When asked where my (estimated) £30 had gone, I was informed that old points had not been transferred,

"Transferred from where to where ?" I asked

"From last season's ticket to this years" came the reply. "You'll have to ask the ticket office to sort that out" To be honest, I can't recall if I sorted it out or not, so will nip in sometime soon to have a word.

So, it would appear the teamcard has been discarded and the points transferred to your seaon ticket. If you don't have a season ticket I don't know where your points are recorded.

I wonder if the club might know !!!!!!

I had something similar, i cant even remember where the money/credit came from but it wasn't transferred from one card or account to a new one. I did eventually get it sorted when buying something in the club shop.

Had exactly the same issue yesterday cl40. Went in spent about £250 and had 0 points on my card, asked where my old points had gone as i knew i had some on there roughly about a tenner. The chap who served me said that there was an issue with ST and the barcodes and transferring points over, i thought they just automatically did that but he said the same to me ticket office has to sort it 🤯

Did you go to the ticket office? I did and they said I had to email.

Surely if this is a known issue they would resolve it without you having to ask.
