JT - 7 did well
Roberts - 6 didn't work out today, slower moving the ball
Humphreys - 7 solid
Esteve - 7 solid
Pires - 4 headless chicken
Cullen - 6 doesn't shy away but needs to pass it forward
Brownhill - 6 frustrating
Laurent - 5 mostly invisible and had a clear chance to shoot, but didn't at one stage
Anthony - 4 lightweight
Sarmiento - 4 should have wore a white shirt with the amount of times he gave the ball away
Flemming - 4 offered nothing but Parker is obsessed with playing him out of position.

Jay Rod - 6 actually put a shift in, but to no avail
Koleosho - 6 tried but didn't work

Parker - 3 tactically inept against a low block. Most boring game I've watched live since Cotterill. Needs to play both Flemming and Jay Rod against crap teams, but he only knows one formation.

Trafford 8 very little to do but did it extremely well.
Roberts 6
Esteve 8
Humphreys 8
Pires 6 exposed in front.
Cullen 7 typical,neat and tidy.
Brownhill 6
Laurent 6
Anthony 4 wasteful.
Sarmiento 8 mom, tried his best, some neat stuff.
Flemming 3 really feel it for him, when will Parker play him in position ? No service, but when he got the ball he was poor.

Rodriguez 5
Koleosho 8 livened things up,great effort.

From Now TV

Trafford - 8 - "won us a point" made me chuckle Claret10
Roberts - 6 the only bit of fun
Pires - 6 he tired towards the end
Esteve- 7
Humphreys 7 at least he eased my worries at RCH
Cullen - 6 fine
Brownhill -6
Laurent - 5 did okay but did he really need to start against Derby
Anthony - 5 not his night
Sarmiento - 6 not as good as he looks, guess I have been spoiled in the past
Flemming - 3 Please play him in his correct position or send him back to Millwall because the word Garbage is popping up!

Koleosho - 7 at least he had a go
Jay - 6 - should of started with flemming
Hountondji - 4 Didn't again disprove that he's not non league

Bored Bored Bored with that rubbish

This was the week that pencilled us in for 3rd or 4th, whilst Leeds with a dark pencil in for the top 2

Also of note, we are now under 2 points per game, you don't deserve automatic under that!

Hope we have a striker lined up for the opening of the window and not the bl**dy end of it

Trafford -7 (probably gained us 2 points)

Roberts -5 offered little to no overlap

Esteve -8. Too good for this league

Humphries -6 did ok but lacks game time in that position, silly passes all the game

Pires - 5 hes a league 2 footballer

Cullen - 6 might as well not played him. Formation wise he just went sideways and backwards against a team wanting him to do that

Brownhill-6 one chance first half. Cant recall a thing he did after that (he’s not a number 10 attacking midfielder ffs)

Laurent -5 some awful late delays on passes what should should have been played earlier. Sign stoke players get stoke outcomes

Sarmiento - 6 I like the positions he takes, he breaks the lines as they like to phrase it, but his final ball is like the rest of the team pretty shite

Anthony - 4 looked like a 13 year old playing against men (made their fat left sided Defender look like maldini?

Flemming -3 unfit , out of position, disinterested, useless. (I hope we don’t have an obligation to buy)

Subs

Jay-6 looked better when he was on although he didn’t move much

Koleosho -6 found dangerous positions but yet again can’t deliver dangerous balls or have a footballing brain to do so.

Hoiutinji- not enough time but we’ve signed an absolute dud.
Edit saved us dropping 2 points

I’ve seen school children pass with more accuracy and I’ve certainly seen them showing for the ball far more frequently and willingly than those on the pitch tonight. We set off with what looked like a deliberate gameplan of playing slow and patient football. The life was sucked out of the game within ten minutes and that was one hundred percent on us. That performance was totally unacceptable. Well played, Derby.

We wouldn’t score in a brothel tonight. Only bonus I got trapped in the middle of the Derby coaches and got waved through after a word with the coppers to move aside and arrived home at 11.40 instead of 12.10 my normal time.

Trafford (6) - dragged out of his deckchair once by a rancid Derby side, otherwise uninvolved.
Roberts (5) - shame he can’t pick passes like he picks fights.
Humphreys (6) - looked very comfortable against, let’s be fair, a team that came for a 0-0.
Estève (6) - see Humphreys. Untroubled by unambitious opposition.
Pires (4) - found himself in a string of promising positions and butchered just about all of them.
Cullen (6) - did OK on a night where we needed more than that.
Laurent (5) - started OK, faded badly.
Anthony (4) - been OK recently but was absolutely honking tonight.
Brownhill (6) - put himself about to decreasing effect.
Sarmiento (7) - MOTM for the first half performance. As the second half fell apart, so did he.
Flemming (4) - on the one hand, he’s being hung out to dry as a 9. On the other I’ve seen nothing from him to make me think he’d be better as a 10. Think we’ve been sold a pup.

Subs - an improvement on the players they replaced but that was a bloody low bar on the night.

Hard to beat, harder to watch, and I can’t see any way this team goes up automatically.

Trafford 7 (Absolutely nothing to do bar one crucial save, but he made that save!)
Roberts 6
Humphreys 8 (I thought he was excellent, especially given he's not played there this season)
Esteve 7
Pires 6 (Loads of ball and opportunities in the opposition half, but it all comes to nowt!)
Cullen 8
Laurent 6 (Great and influential first half, faded badly in the second)
Brownhill 6
Anthony 5
Sarmiento 7 (First half was excellent, but second half I genuinely forgot he was still on the field!)
Flemming 5

Jay 5
Koleosho 7 (An impact sub and exactly how I felt he could be best used currently. He livened everything up against a tiring team and almost made the difference)

Let's be honest, Derby were utterly dreadful and unlike some other poor teams we've seen, they couldn't even press us effectively or "keep it tight" because much of the time we had acres of space in midfield, especially Cullen, and out wide. Yet once again a team has taken a point with barely a threat to their goal. We'll almost certainly make the play offs (certainly not a given) but we're miles off finishing in the top two.

Biggest spenders in the Championship set up at home for a 0-0 draw. We've had some bad performances over the last few months but last nights is up with the worst of them.

Flemming 4 not seeing anything from him currently

Koleosho 7 looked back at it last night, fully confident he rounds the GK and wins us the match

Trafford 7 - not much do, but did everything well that he needed to
Roberts 6 - up and down game, bit sloppy
Pires 5 - no conviction in anything he does
Esteve 7 - coasted through as ever
Humphreys 8 - the shining light, very good performance, lots of drive
Cullen 7 - kept things ticking away as usual
Brownhill 6 - nothing much really
Sarmiento 7 - the attacking player who looked most likely, but did fade
Anthony 4 - desperately poor, can't beat a man, can't cross
Laurent 5 - bang average, not sure why he started
Flemming 4 - some sympathy as I don't think he can play this role despite SP's insistence, but can give a bit more than this surely

Koleosho 7 - for all the criticism he gets, certainly shows a lot more willing and want to do the right thing than Anthony
Rodriguez 6 - ok, tried to get involved
Hountondji 5 - bambi on ice vibes sometimes

Awful game. They were poor, we were poor, the crowd couldn't be bothered (I don't blame them) and it was pretty cold. Waste of everybody's time.

Would class this as the most worrying and also worst performance of the season considering the opposition. Parker needed to be way more proactive with his changes. And again we started flooding players forward way too late. Not helped when we were basically carrying two players for most of the game.

Our lack of attacking threat off the bench is a concern. Benson, Tresor, Agyei, Redmond -- where are you?

JT - 7 good save
Roberts - 6 not as good as Friday, but at least he shows urgency
Humphreys - 7 - He's improving every game, looks a good player
Esteve - 7 solid
Pires - 5- Just get half a yard and cross it in. This is why he was in the team.
Cullen - 6 - Not sure he's needed against low block teams
Brownhill - 6 - Very average tonight
Laurent - 6 Did ok, but not sure why we played a midfield 3 in a game like this
Anthony - 4 Awful - Should have been subbed at HT
Sarmiento - 7 - The only player who can create space. Think he created 3 or 4 good "moments" and therefore our best chances.
Flemming - 4 - Why did we buy him?

Jay Rod - 6 Looked more threatening
Koleosho - 6 - Should have been on at HT

I've said for a while we need to try and limp along until January and hopefully address our shortcomings then and kick on. But we are starting to lose ground on the top two.

A big opportunity lost tonight to stay close to Leeds. A very poor Derby side lacking any real quality succeeded in making us look very poor and toothless

Trafford 7-more threatened than the Derby keeper. He has stopped us losing two games in a row
Roberts 7-tried hard to start a number of attacks
Humphreys 7-played well considering he was on the right side. A player of good potential
Esteve 8-we expect this from him
Pires 6-not his best game, failing to show his attacking potential
Brownhill 6
Cullen 6
Laurent 6
Anthony 5-disappointing tonight
Sarmiento 8-our brightest player and needs to stat every game,
Flemming 5-if we continue playing him there he will totally lose all confidence.Would ratgher play Sarmiento there

Koleosho 7-lively 20 minutes
Jay 6-at least ran the channels unlike FlemingBig opportunity lost

Trafford 6 kept us in game
Roberts 5
Pires 4 distribution poor
Esteve 6 steady
Huphreys 6 used space available
Sorimento 7 had a spark
Brownhill 5
Lourent 5 runs with the ball
Cullan 5 playing safe won’t win games
Anthony 3 zero confidence or ability
Flemming 4 not much movement off the ball
Poor service also
Jay Rod 5
Koleosho 5
Needs to play 4 4 2 or don’t play Flemming give him a chance

I'm baffled by the comments regarding Flemming and the fact he's playing out of position.

I get it's not where he plays, I'm not expecting 20 goals a season, not even 10 goals a season.

But playing 10 yards deeper as a number 10 as opposed to as a striker, does that suddenly mean his touch improves, his ability to retain the ball improves, his movement improves, his pace improves, his reactions improve? I just don't get it. He gives us nothing - no shape, no platform to build from, nothing. Right now looks like a player who's hype exceeds his ability to me.

I thought we had a few players last night who for whatever reasons were simply not at the races. Pires Flemming and Anthony were way below par. If they were golfers they would be ranked in the world top 10

The standout thing for me last night, which is reflected in these scores, is that Pires, Anthony and Fleming all had terrible games. It was like playing a side with 3 more players and it showed

I'm with Luppy here. Obviously Flemming is not a centre forward, so what is he then?
I can't figure out why he has been brought in, as whatever his "position" is, it is one
that we don't seem to have in our team, so he's basically redundant.

We're a point off the top two. Granted, that could go to three tonight, but hardly losing ground.
