Letting Barnes go when we did was the right thing for everyone, but that's not to detract from how superb he was for us over a number of seasons at the very highest level, or to brush over the fact that VK wanted him out for reasons not entirely "footballing" as he believed his influence in the dressing room was too great and not in a good way.

Unless you saw it you wouldent believe what happened for that goal. It appears that the Burnley players had never seen each other before. Then Cullen gets his feet in a muddle and kicks the ball out for a corner. Corner comes in free header.
