He has every time he has played there. Left footed centre half in the right back position.

Not sure you can say that, Trafford touched the ball about 6 times in the 30 seconds after kick off before the corner, so he was instrumental in the giving away of the corner under pressure. I still don’t blame him for the goal though.

There were any number of players that could have chosen to go long before it made his way back to him.

He is then clearly under instruction to not launch it.

Pires can just leave the dodgy ball instead of heading it back in, he chose not to do that and gave the receiver a hospital pass.

Cullen panics and slices the ball which is uncharacteristic of him.

We've then given the scorer a free header.

Perhaps no role in it whatsoever is a bit much but there are too many others involved in that cluster **** to lay it squarely at his door.
