To anyone who watched from home and are critical of the fans, those of us in the lower stands were getting drenched in icy rain.
Drenched at times in the 2nd half. Wasn't good was it LCP.

Credit to the Cricket Field today. They kept it going, helped by a superb team performance.

Been literally missing, last couple of matches.

Watched from near back of Longside, bar the first and last 10 mins that was thoroughly enjoyable. Dominant.
A word for the CFS who sounded great and also for the Jimmy Mac lower fans who lasted most of game in driving rain for much of it, terrible conditions.

We are "reactive" when we should be "proactive"

Not easy, but needs to be done.

In many ways, it is far easier when we are away from home.

I thought the atmosphere was very good today.

Due to my age I now have to sit in the BLS whose patrons are not known for being a vociferous bunch.

However, in the second half there was spontaneous clapping around me and even some singing took place until most of them ran out of breath.

Should have felt sorry for everybody freezing cold, and no excitement. We are crap to watch but winning and 3rd in league so everybody is happy.

I must apologise to Woodley as I said it was tonight’s only negative comment,Barlick you’ve joined him,we’ve played some crap this year and if we’d played like we did today on a balmy spring day most of us would be delighted but to turn in a performance like todays in the most horrendous conditions was truly exceptional.

Dire Atmosphere in the first half - much better in the second half when attaching the Jimmy Mac

The cricket field end is too quiet and alway better when other stands get involved

If you think that our performance today was “crap to watch” then maybe you need to try another sport. In football terms that was a cracking performance and a very good, exciting, game despite some grim conditions.

It was Mad Friday yesterday, evertone includind the Hornets were hung over. I remember us at Barnsley on Boxing Day 23 years ago - 6000 of us, not one song, awful, and nothing from the Barnsley lot until they scraped a late ugly goal.

What has running coaches or having or not having played football got to do with it? If you can't just accept us for what we are, then fine. Go watch Man City! Football genius?

I often look around when the Jimmy Mac join in and see all three sides clapping and singing, then look over to the BL and see everyone sat there emotionless. Always makes me wonder what they’re thinking: whether they enjoy an atmosphere being created for them, want to join in but don’t dare break the silence or would just prefer we all shut up and stopped making such a din??!

I think if I ever get to the point where I don’t want to sing at a football match, I’ll jack it in.

Thanks for the offer but I'm absolutely fine. Which obviously some people aren't! After last week's game we had exactly the same record after 21 games under Kompany, won 11 drawn 8 and lost 2 but with +1 better goal difference. We've played excellent today against a team that are very good going forward but who created very little. We've only conceded 9 goals in 22 games and no team has scored more than 1 against us. Ok, the football hasn't been great every games but considering the Manger was given a bum hand with losing so many players before the start of the season, I'd say that we're doing ok. Now if that's not good enough for you you're probably watching the wrong team! We're Burnley, not Barcelona!

No. I've been a season ticket holder for over thirty years.

Given the horrendous conditions, I thought some of our football was excellent.

Totally agree, can't see us getting better, but the sides in this league are worse, we are a much better team with today's line up but it's still not good to watch. Maybe because our flair players under kompany were better that what we've got now.

Yeh, crap to watch, no pattern, no excitement, 2nd goal today was class. But otherwise same as every week. But that's my opinion, can't take to parker yet.
You need your head checking. Bet you didn't even go today.

You talk absolute ********

Here we go again, your obviously a very bitter person, take a chill pill and accept your not always right. We all watch and love our team but have different opinions.. yours isn't always the right one. That's why we all enjoy the game.
That counts for the very little if you aren’t part of the clique. It could be belting down outside & somebody else would say it’s sunny & most would agree.

We are sat there enjoying the extra legroom, wide seats, quick bar service and waiting for the other stands to sing songs for us.

Good luck to them that can do it. I don’t think some people realise just how cold it is sometimes people are down with flu & chest infections you name it it’s about. I think Jakemans sales are currently somewhere near unprecedented levels so if you cut some slack I’d be eternally grateful.

We are fortunate that we have 4 individual stands on different levels and corner facilities which cater for all supporters.

Not everyone wants to stand up all the match singing and goading the away fans.

 I've no problem with anyone singing/ chanting in support of the Clarets and would positively encourage it.

You seem to be singling out those that would actually want to watch the match.

To be fair, I was the same as you with my insular, narrow minded views.

It got a bit better when I went to secondary school.

   Do they sell Jakemans in the BL?

:o you really shouldn’t be attending with flu and chest infractions though!
