Good result for us. Sheffield United have dropped 5 points in 3 days.
Must try and capitalise tonight now.

Re: Today's football
Very pleasing.
Re: Today's football
We can be dull at times but I wouldn’t be keen on us playing that frantically and desperately for at least 30mins (only caught the last 30).
Re: Today's football
Only saw the second half but a decent match. SU have a lot of good players.
O'Hare has a highly slappable face, a poor man's Grealish.

Re: Today's football
I thought it was a pen. It's irrelevant that O'Hare had overrun the ball. The challenge was with the intention only of taking him out, and no intention of winning the ball. That's excessive force, and therefore a foulTricky Trevor wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 2:09 pmI complained t’other day about shoves in the back not being given but that was as good a shoulder to shoulder as you’ll ever see. Well done Atwell.

Definitely bottled the second yellow probably as it was in front of Sheff Utd bench.Roosterbooster wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 2:28 pmHe probably should have had a 2nd yellow as well today. The ref bottled it, alongside a penalty for either side

Re: Today's football
Feel like giving Cantwell Dolan and Britain a good slapping.

Cantwell struts about thinking he’s Messi he’s just missed the goals from about 8yds and ballooned 2 efforts miles over the bar.

Re: Today's football
Beck should be off for the number of fouls he’s done.
Re: Today's football
Never understood it. Why's he bothered about doing it? Fair play to him for wanting to prove whatever it is he wants to prove but he's one of the best players the country's ever seen, minted beyond belief, could have as much punditry work as he wants for the rest of his life. He could have it as cushy as anyone can have it.depechedingle wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 4:36 pmWayne Rooney better at managing a large kebab than a football club.
Instead he'd rather spend it away from his wife, kids and mansion at the other end of the country trying to get a team to finish 21st.

So Sheffield United drew, Rovers are losing and Sunderland are drawing.
