Not thrilled with SP tonight. He’s told his team that the throat is not the target.

Not pretty by any means but its a point and "another" clean sheet ... settle for that (reluctantly)

It's been a steady performance against a side that are good going forwards. A point here is a good result and i was saying to myself before we kicked off "just don't lose" so I can't be too disappointed.

With that being said, we have offered next to no attacking threat against a side that have demonstrated that they can be got at. This is a mixture of general passiveness which has plagued a few other of our games and some poor choices/lack of quality when in great positions.

There is some credit to Josh Laurent, Humphries and Hannibal in recent games and deservedly so but for me those are the players im looking at when we talk about needing a bit more quality in attacking areas to turn these tight draws into wins.

The plan seems to be not to concede and to get a one clear chance put away…. For that though you need a very competent striker - which mirrors Parker’s previous sides. However we could also be more positive with subs and timings , odds are someone will put those chances away or 40% of them and that may be enough if we dont concede. But still frustrating.

Four hard games and we have 10 ponts. Would have taken that at the start of them. Just a shame we have let Sheff Utd and Sunderland off the hook.

Decent draw. The Brownhill chance was the golden opportunity for 3 points.

Win your home games, draw your away
At the start of the Xmas period we'd all have taken a point from this fixture

Didn't lay a glove on them really, which is frustrating. But 4 points from those 2 games ain't bad at all.

Entertaining for a 0 - 0 draw and a draw was probably the fairest result

Disappointed with that result. I thought Boro were there for the taking. Think Parker bottled it with the subs.

A decent point. But if you refuse to try and win a game to take you top 2 there’s a problem.

Should have been 3 pts there but we had one off the line and the big miss from Browny.

Sadly our bench isn't quite as good as it looks. Losing Hannibal and Anthony effectively stopped any of our pressing and allowed them to start to build out ore on the final 10.

They stuck men behind the ball and it paid off

The lads weren’t at their best tonight but worked hard to shut out a free scoring Boro side. Performance and result fine. Just a shame Brownhill spurned that golden chance.

Draw at home to Stoke then win at Deadwood 8 points from 3 away and one at home what’s not to like?

Take the point there. The gap is closed and we’re soon on with poorer teams, Boro are decent.

My one observation - I felt we lost shape and impetus the moment Hannibal went off.

Happy with a point before kick off, but that game was there for the taking and we underwhelmed.
Still lots of positives the point away to a contender, the clean sheet.
Park it and move on.

Not the greatest watch, but would have taken 4 points from games at Sheffield Utd & Boro at the start of the week and taking the 3 from nearest rivals was the preferable way

Not sure what some of you lot are watching!

We had some great chances to win the game, and in this run of games, a point away at Boro is a good result.

On to the next one, UTC.

Give over - other than a lot dit h clearance and a shocker of a miss from Browny that's 3 points.

We put on Koleosho, Sarmiento andJay to try and win it. Just didn't come off (largely cos Anthony is .uch much better than Koleosho)

Horrible miss from Brownhill. When you don’t have anything up front, they need to go in.

Another clean sheet, and a good return from two tough away games.

I thought we lost any momentum when Hannibal went off - he was bossing it at the time.

Bit disappointed with a point. Thought Boro were there to be beaten tonight. Taking Anthony off who was our biggest threat seemed to kill all momentum.

Foster should have come on after about65 minutes as Fleming could not get into the game

Decent point, could have been 3 if Brownhill scores his sitter.

We've played all the big boys away from home now, let's see the other teams around us pick up as many points on the road against the top teams, it won't happen.

A decent point and not bad performance. We’ve limited a very good attacking side to not a lot at all, with both big chances in the game falling to us. I wouldn’t have wanted either to fall to anyone else right now either but that’s football.

I knew it wouldn't be long before people started putting this spin on it.

Why people have to colour facts to push an agenda is just ridiculous. Brownhill missed a sitter and Fry cleared one off the line with his body- is that offering next to no attacking threat?

Defensive record remains extraordinary. Say what you want about Boro, but they’ve been pretty free scoring. Yet another clean sheet. Frustrating one, but it happens and we’re well in contention going into 2025.
