Season ticket renewal

Post by Leisure » Mon Jan 06, 2025 7:08 pm

Has anyone been able to renew their ST to day online, paying upfront? I haven't been able to find anything online where I could do this!

Nope, I rang the ticket office and the lass said it should be available tomorrow (Tuesday). Mind you, she didn’t sound too convinced!

You’ll be fine BC. It’ll be as before- auto renewal, assuming you pay by DD. That’s my understanding anyway.

Just renewed my ST with full payment, to be taken on the due date, no mention of when that was, but I’ve got the order email.
The facility just appears as a notification under the next 3 games one. (Right hand account menu drop down)

If that wasn’t clear: it’s on the eticketing website, logon and select the ‘personal hub’ dropdown I.e. top right - white circle icon with head in it.

I have some credit left over from the share sale a few years ago, and was hoping to use some of that credit for my season ticket. Last year I think this came up as an option when checking out. However I can't seem to find details of this anywhere on the site anymore. Has anyone been able to use this method for purchasing part or all of their season ticket for 2025/26?

And am I right that the only option to pay seems to be Direct debit? I'm sure you could pay via card last season.

Also for those struggling with the terrible UX of the website, if you go to this link, it should show you the renewal options

Where did you find the full payment option? I'm only getting the DD option!

When can new season tickets be bought if I want to add one to our group?
Also how does this work with us then sitting together?
Tried reading the FAQs online but can't seem to find anything

I've just tried to renew online, but it won't let me use my credit following the sale of my shares. The only option appears to be direct debit.

Leisure, you’re right. I intended to go for full option, but only DD available, the only way to progress was to choose DD. It then leaves you as auto-enabled for DD after setting up the DD.
I wasn’t too bothered either way, but if you really want to pay up front then I guess you’d have to cancel out and contact the TO.

And yes, £3 postage, although it shows £1.50 as fees for ‘Name:post amount’ but still £3 added to total.

Wasn't there talk of season tickets going digital at some point and you'd have to pay extra for a season ticket card?

If you look at the Guide referred to on the main website news item announcement, there is a section that refers to paying upfront online. I didn’t see any of this on my ‘journey’, think I skidded off on the snow!

“How to renew your season ticket – Payment in full, Use Ticket credit or Sign up for Direct Debit

Step 1.
Head to the season ticket renewals page. Here, you will be able to see your season tickets, as well as your friends and families. Tick the box next to the name and continue with the purchase journey. “

I guess you don't currently have a season ticket then? That link should show existing seats that can be renewed.

Although with it being Burnley and that website, who knows :D

Any credit on your account will be automatically deducted from the cost of your Season Ticket. If you are paying for a friend or family member's ticket and they also have credit available, this will also be automatically deducted from the price of their ticket.

Please note, the auto-renewal option is only available for payments made in full using either Debit/ Credit Card or Direct Debit. By opting in to auto-renewal, you will be unable to use account credit as a payment method.

The site is shockingly bad.

I don't recall having to pay a delivery fee last year!

I went on earlier, and it tried to charge me that, and now it's down to £1.50 but with a direct debit option only.

After their efforts at posting them out last year, I don't want to pay £3 to have it posted to my old address - I'd rather pick it up!

To opt out of auto-renewals, you can either do so via the eticketing.co.uk/burnleyfc website or by contacting the box office at ticketoffices@burnleyfc.com or by calling 01282 446800.

I’ve given up trying different methods as when I finally managed to get a checkout sale for payment , the only payment option was d/d.
I wish to pay for renewal in full.

Thanks Peter but I wonder why the club itself cannot trial the process with organisers like your self and others that run, for instance, the away match coaches.
You all are, I’m sure, regularly interfacing with the club’s own ticketing office.

You would have to ask them but you would have thought that they would at least internally trial new systems etc!

Why are adult tickets so cheap in the barnfield?
They are cheaper than one of the accessible corners?

I followed the three steps instructions after logging in via the Burnley FC website not the app, as the ticket office said that "the app doesn't work".
At step 3 I couldn't find any selections, it just gave me this page

Probably the absymal facilities, although I like it there as you don't get wet and it has the best atmosphere.

So I can purchase an extra one as a member? Or the new season ticket holder can't as a non member?
