Tresorection and the return of the Bash!!!

Good selection that - kudos to SP for giving two starts to McDermott and Bauress.

Hate to say it but they sounded to have a good following.
Was no where near a full house. The home supporters went pretty quiet after Rovers scored, but yep. They sounded like they'd a few travelling.
Probably a mass 'Day Release' scheme.

Are people really surprised at the mass changes? Right thing to do. Getting to round 5 of the FA cup is way down the pecking order in ambitions for this season.

Seriously people need to check their brains sometimes
You only have to look at Owen Coyle's season to see what might happen if you get to the 5th round of the cup. Is it really wrong to want to see a bit of football?

I like the look of that line up. A good mixture of youth and experience and a very strong forward line.

The bench is very strong, too.

Just swore by the toiletries in Tesco when I saw you know who on the bench. A reprieve, or a final goodbye?

I assume the answer is no, but is this being streamed anywhere?

No it certainly isn't. A cup run would be great for the club, and for the "fringe" players who get a bit of competitive football.

That squad just shows how weak our central midfield is if Brownhill moves on and Cullen gets injured

Wouldnt all teams have a weak midfield if all their best players left??

Plus it’s worth a bit of money, £125,000 if we win today.

Interested to see what this Tyler Bindon is like for Reading, very highly rated. Big 19 year old centre back, already got 70+ appearances and playing for the New Zealand national team.

I'm all for giving a youngsters a go but they could do with a bit of experience/presence alongside them. Don't think throwing two raw young lads together in the middle of the park is the best way to go about it.

Is this team a surprise,- no not at all the championship is the priority if we win good if we don’t win so what, to win today and get L/pool in the next round and get a morale damaging defeat that could ruin the whole season. But who knows with Magic Mike on the bench anything could happen. What a joke! sell him and ease the wage bill. UTC

The team looks horrific ( as in this XI never played together or anything like it ) 2 kids in midfield is almost bizzare . Reading at home and in good form too . Though our back line is loaded with experience and our ancient front line knows where the net is .

Not a fan of the young midfield as it is akin to sacking off the competition, Laurent as a minimum could have played if not on hols, not played as much as some. Of course I like to see young lads do well as much as anybody and I hope they do.

Won’t get started on Tresor, I expect 20 minutes then sold.

By the way, BBC Berkshire has decent commentary.

Superb crossfire ball from J. Bauress.

Looks odd watching Jay playing so deep!
It's working though.
