Coventry City Penalty
Norman Bassette was substituted in the 88th minute but then took the winning penalty in the shootout, I always thought if a player wasn't on the field at the final whistle that he couldn't take a penalty? Therefore down to the remaining 11 players?
Sorry if this has been covered I haven't checked but if they've broken the rules will they be kicked out?

Re: Coventry City Penalty
That's how I understood the rules.
If that's the case, then they'll be in big trouble.

Re: Coventry City Penalty
Havertz just had his penalty tipped around the post and didn’t even get a corner.

It was my Sheffield wednesday pal that told me about it so I looked on Livescore and seen the sub in the 88th minute didn't check which way, he said it's all over social media about it.
No wonder I haven't found anything haha

It’s a tough one but I’d go for Werner.dougcollins wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2025 6:04 pmAs somebody said on another thread, who's the worst - Havertz or Werner?

Re: Coventry City Penalty
Werner went clean through against Tamworth today and you just knew he wasn’t going to score.

Definitely Werner. Havertz is an excellent player and showed it last season.dougcollins wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2025 6:04 pmAs somebody said on another thread, who's the worst - Havertz or Werner?
Re: Coventry City Penalty
Havertz was shocking today, missed two sitters and a penalty
