Poor Mike, comes on with a cameo performance and has his hand in 2 goals that see us win then gets 5 pages of over analysis and conspiracy. Only on UTC, some are really raising their bar on here. Tresor certainly falls in the you will not receive any praise category. Looks like his future at Burnley will be over scrutinised.

I've feeling that some posters must be using AI to create their posts / replies.
He cost 18 million Euros and has barely played and The owner and manager give out contradictory public statements about him.

In my lifetime, I can recall few situations like it.

Maybe the chairman's comments came from a place of love and support, he wanted him to recover and get better to be able to play before considering letting him go elsewhere.
I think this is right, though possibly misjudged to say he's fit and ready to play. Whether true or otherwise it was contradictory to Parkers comments. And he's the guy who has to try and manage him physically and mentally, back to a place where he wants to play.

No one has suggested this so I’ll put it out there… maybe he just had a bit of stitch , it’s a common thing , it can happen to anyone anytime and nothing to do with fitness.. just a thought

Been linked to Leeds again by Nixon.

Not sure why we would sell to them if true.

I think we have been trying to sell him for months.

Would make sense if we are buying Whittaker, financially.

I would rather have a fit Tresor though as we are crying out for creativity in the side. Not another cut inside and shoot bloke.

If he's as bad as some on here would suggest, then maybe we should be encouraging him to move to one of our rivals :P
Personally I think we should give him a chance here.

It would be brilliant if he went to Leeds for decent money.
It would end all the speculation on his fitness / willingness to play. It would give Parker money to buy someone who fits his plans more precisely, It gives Pace a get out of jail card as no one knows how it's going to pan out if he doesn't move on.
Lastly, he really will have to perform at Leeds to get fans o his side, which is highly debatable at this moment in time.

Surely, if he's going to be sold for decent money Leeds is about the last club we'd want him to go to.

No point taking the risk with Leeds. They should finish top 2 regardless. If he goes there and is bobbins they already have good players and he'd barely play. Flip side is he does well and helps them secure that place at our expense. If he's going, and I reckon that would be on loan, far better for him to go back to Europe where there's no risk to us and hopefully he does well enough to put himself in the shop window.

The best outcome though is he starts playing for us and shows the talent we clearly thought was there when we bought him.

They should finish top 2 but they have the biggest expectation. Their crowd can turn and show their frustration when things aren't going to plan which their players have to be able to handle.

Well I'm really hoping that Tresor continues to have cameos like he did at Reading for the next few weeks whilst building up his fitness and continuing his recovery from the illness.

He looks like he could be a brilliant player to bring on when we are struggling to break down opponents, (happened regularly this season).

Agreed. We haven't got many game changers, and he is one. Not necessarily proved it here so much but certainly did at Genk. Amd IF he gets fully fit and motivated he's the kind of player particularly at home against the bus parkers, that should start. Perhaps less so away where Parkers go to setup and personnel works very well

There's definitely a player there. If Parker can get him on board for the rest of the season and we can sign a striker then I think we can definitely finish top two.

Yes, those 10 minutes at the end of a game we'd lost more often than not were great opportunities that he failed to take advantage of.

I'd say lumbered it's mindful to remember he wasn't Scott parkers signing but I agree with the price tag you have to do something with him. If you give SP the choice no tresor & there's 18m to spend on whoever you want I'm confident which way it would go. I suspect quietly away it's a headache he doesn't need.

Plymouth boss Miron Muslic said: "I have a very good first impression of Morgan. I know it's busy for him because I think in the background something is going on but that's normal if you have this quality and you are that kind of profile. It's just normal, but he's very professional and he can deal with that."

"He's a player who can have one individual moment and decide the game for us. That's quality. Normally those guys cost a lot of money."

I haven't seen anyone else linked with Whittacker. Plymouth are being linked with Liverpool's young striker Darren Witcoop but they have a problem because they have 5 loan players, one of them being Obafemi. You have to wonder if making his transfer permanent can't play a part in the transfer. That would allow them to free up a loan spot. With us trying to limit the amount spent before the end of the season that could be something that would suit us too.

There's pretty much zero chance he'll be starting but he does look like he could be a useful option off the bench when we need a goal.

Unrelated OT bit on Tresor from the Telegraph piece today.

Seems like Tresor, Koleosho and Brownhill all live in the city centre so travel in together. Can’t recall if Josh has kids or not but it seems to be the thing that they move to Cheshire when they need a bigger pad and more grass.

The problem with the article on the website and other similar is modern day journalism, if you can call it that.

All the research is done online on message boards, Facebook and X.

You get a handful of divisive muppets on these platforms and that’s basis for these nothing stories that are designed to get clicks.

The commentary for one of our games on Sky Sports + , it sounded like the research had been carried on here and X.

It’s pretty obvious to anyone without blind faith.

Alan Pace’s comments and instagram posts around the end of transfer window tell you all you need to know.

The guy doesn’t want to be here and we should make that happen for him as swiftly as possible rather than clambering over him as some sort of saviour.

While he is here and is paid by the club I say play him and give him a chance to prove to us Fans what BFC paid all that money for.
If he performs well his value increases, but if he is sulking (as some reckon) then his value goes down as no-one will want him.

So I for one want the lad to do well ...

Did you catch him?

If he doesn't want to be here and he's been sulking for a year then why would he suddenly be OK to play against Reading. That's a bit strange. But then if he genuinely has been sick then some the rumours coming from the club/Pace are also strange.

10:00 just after Tresor plays the ball, I don't think I've ever seen a professional footballer looking less interested in getting into the box.
He might as well have sat down and pulled out a book.
Strange that he made himself available if there is a problem, and you can't question his ability.
