May not have been the biggest win under SD's tenure but certainly the sweetest (well for me it was).
Manchester United 0 Burnley 2. First half goal from Chris Wood who was on fire that season as well. However his goal was eclipsed by a screamer from Jay Rod. Surely one of our greatest goals, certainly imo. Let's hope we can go on and emulate that tonight.

Belting night out that. Had some free tickets for the Manchester Beer Festival at the GMEX, so went there first, then rocked up to the ground after.

Was still very nervous and refused to celebrate properly until the final whistle went, given we'd squandered 2 nil leads to very late goals in the previous 2 matches there.

Usually wise not to celebrate at OT until after the official result has been confirmed!!!

Blimey, that makes me feel old.

I was working in Coventry, but I'd swung some "off-site support" for a Exec meeting up in Oldham which coincided with it. Two things I remember from the evening.

1. The moment of stunned silence in the ground, including the away fans as Jay Rods shot hit the net before the away end went absolutely teapot
2. The number of Clarets fans standing in disbelief afterwards and looking at an emptying pitch just trying to to take in what they had witnessed.

Probably the moment Dyche's Burnley peaked and it was downhill from there. But what a journey getting there, and what a peak.

What a hit with his left foot, one of those from Jay Rod tonight will do nicely.

I was right on the back row of the away seats, in front of some United fans in a box.

What a night.
