Victor Palsson (no.44) take a bow

Post by agreenwood » Thu Jan 23, 2025 7:15 am

Probably the worst Individual defensive performance I’ve seen against us since Jason Shackell & Richard Keogh came to Turf Moor almost a decade ago.

Couldn’t handle Flemming, generally in no man’s land and could have given away three penalties.

He started the first half poorly and got progressively worse as it went on.

Wasn't this the dude who handled three times yet no penalty given?

Looked like a goalkeeper being asked to play outfield.

Played it to brownhill for the first
Stopped tracking Flemming and fell over his own feet for the second
Stood marking nobody and blocking the keeper's view for the third
Jumped too early and completely missed his header leaving JL to nod the fourth
Didn't track Flemming for the fifth and then missed the block on Cullen's side foot home

What an evening :)

He looked liked he’d won his place in the side in a club raffle or something .

Apparently told the home fans to F##k off at half time. Wasn't especially popular on the Plymouth fans forum.

They said on tv that their 2 first choice CHs are both out for a while.
