Morton Betts - Clitheroe Grand

Post by ten bellies » Thu Jan 16, 2025 7:48 pm

Not only the scorer of the first goal in the first FA Cup final, but a post punk indy band, with a Claret season ticket holder as lead guitarist. They play the above venue, along with 3 other acts, on Sat 1 Feb as part of a collaboration with BBC Introducing. Anyone at a loose end will find tickets a very reasonable £7.50

If they all were then who would do the moaning on the matchday thread?

Can’t make it unfortunately but will be a great gig, 6 music were bogging it up the other day as it’s part of their BBC Introduces programme linked to independent venue week.

We have however purchased tickets for The Chameleons at The Grand in November which will be another great night.

Irk, The Chameleons "Script of the Bridge" is one of my favourite post punk albums.

I was there, Morton Betts were incredible, it was a really good evening. The other three bands were good as well. 8-)

My favourite album of all time, from my favourite band of all time. The Grand is one of 4 Chameleons gigs this year, we’ve a big contingent looking forward to that and Manchester the following evening.
