We certainly didn't look like we wanted to win it. Or indeed have a clue how to go about it.

A run of very winnable games coming up.... we've GOT to
start taking maximum points from them though.

Nothing wrong with the result, but the performance was another pathetic effort at home.
Why the hell is Parker so frightened to have a go, you can't mount attacks sitting on the back foot 90% of the game.

He might be happy, the players might be happy, but I'm not. I'd rather have lost going for it, than roll over and have our belly tickled again. Rubbish.

Never seen a manager who just sat there not giving a **** so long as it stayed 0-0.

How can a "professional" sportsman have that kind of mentality? What a cuck.

Started off as a very enjoyable game with both sides going for it.

We then cancelled each other out and it ended up being a dull ending. I'll take that. Much better to be where we are and not give one of our main competitors anything to stretch ahead.

Solid a professional.

Funnily, DL fans are criticisng their team online, too.

What are the odds of a repeat performance against the mighty Oxford next week?

Playing for a draw at home is a tad disappointing, but even with the amount of ball we did have we just used it terribly. Particularly in the second half we looked clueless when we had opportunities to go forward.

On the flipside, yet again we were incredible defensively. Leeds never looked like scoring and they almost always do.

Swings and roundabouts. We get the results, but it can be frustrating to watch such a lack of ambition at home

Unfortunately we haven't got a midfielder play a defence splitting ball . Onwards and upwards , 4 points off the mighty Leeds this season .

No we didn't. This forum was extremely critical of VK's early months. Then hated his football in the prem. Actually, most of the games fans were critical until it kicked in during that November run.

Given our inability to score, well even have a decent effort at home, I’ve no idea how people are looking at the fixture lost and thinking “winnable”.

Prior to this round of matches Sunderland and Sheff U were home to bottom 6 teams. We were home to top team
Sunderland got a point. Blades got 0 points Burnley and Leeds both got a point. So a great weekend for us and Leeds. Gotta look at the big picture guys

Not against your oppo.
Draw and you're as was.
Go for it and you're more likely to lose that point and your competitors gain 2.

Look at the Elland Rd result. It'll help explain the issue.

Nothing to do with us at all though of course, right?
Yeah we played well at Plymouth. For me we’ve played ok tonight. We haven’t created chances, but this Leeds and Plymouth are literally chalk and cheese. Another imperious performance from our centre halves

In some ways I think Leeds have tempered the way they normally play and arguably in doing so have shown us some respect. Actually think if they’d opened up as they have at times, we’d have had a better chance of nicking a goal.

Do think both managers probably on balance saw that by taking the game on more, there was too much of a risk of losing.

For what it’s worth I think that was probably the best two teams in the league today.

We’ve took 4 points against the best of the other 23 teams in this league. I’m definitely not going to view tonight as negative as many on here are apparently.

They definitely tailored there game plan tonight.

They are usually much more aggressive. They definitely didn’t press as much as they usually do.

Pass to who, everybody is on the edge of our box. Just listen to the post match pundits. The way we set up, is brilliant defensively, but it kills our attacking options. We have to leave 1 or 2 forward to counter, it's awful to watch, dull as dishwater, and so predictable.
It is so easy to fix, and all it takes is courage.

We've just taken 4pts off DL and currently 3 pts off top place with a team that has been put together ad hoc after the disaster of last season. God, some people have no concept of what Parker is achieving.

I’m pretty sure most of us would have taken a club record run of 7 clean sheets and 20 in 29 games after the defending last season. Absolutely incredible given the late August situation around the club.

We've also failed to score in 11 games, against some pretty poor sides as well.
It s all well and good praising the defence, but our attack is toothless. I'll say again it isn't the players, it's Parker.

Does anyone really care if we break clean sheet records, if at the end of the day we don't get promotion.
I'd take a 2-1 win any day over a 0-0 bore draw.

Nowhere was it mentioned that Shelvey was the saviour, but if you can’t see that neither Laurent nor Brownhill can unlock a defence then that’s fine, but the 0-0s speak for themselves. It’s not all down to those players but adding someone with something slightly different won’t do any harm either .

It's a great point against a team that I think will go on to be champions.

With that said, I'm a little disappointed. Firstly in Leeds and this big attacking threat that they have. Don't know whether it's themselves talking themselves up or if we're one of a small bunch of teams with a competent defence. Either way, they were nothing special and they didn't seem that bothered trying to make a statement or just win.

I'm also a bit disappointed that we offered next to nothing in terms of an attacking threat. I understand we played a good side but it does occasionally feel like the attacking logic is "go forwards, but only after exhausting all options for a safe pass or a pass backwards".
