Padiham won 3-1.

Looking good for the play offs atleast with lots of games in hand, automatic isn’t out of sight either but a big ask, probably need to win every game.

Another win for Padiham on Saturday kept their winning run going.

Tonight they take on Barlick at the Arbories in the first of two derbies.
Saturday they have Colne at home as well if anyone needs a football fix.

Looking at that league table, one of those teams is not like the others.

Isle of Man is quite an away trip!

Gonna be struggling to play either looking at weather forecast.

Thankfully they fund the away teams travel and hotels for players and staff, I believe its a great weekend away when Padiham go over.

Maybe next year....

It was Ashton Athletic they played so apologies for that.

Padiham won 4 nil and make the semi finals.

Padiham take on the Isle of Man today at the Arbories, so get yourselves up if at a loose end.
Burnley Season Ticket holders half price.

Should be plenty of goals on show.

Bury have signed Padiham player Tyler James according to my Bury supporting pal. 21 goals in 34 games for Padiham this season. That has got to be a blow?

Doubled his wages and some.

Good player for the level, small and fast. Scored plenty and missed plenty.
Which means he's normally in the right position.

Padiham won 9 in a row now, title contenders for sure.

If they can win all the games they have in hand they will go top above Bury on same games played.

Padiham have moved into the play off positions with games in hand.

Colne have moved out of the relegation zone for the first time this season with a win against St Helens.

I think if Colne started the season with this manager and group of players they'd be in midtable.
And fair play to Padiham, hell of a run they're on.

Has more money been released when relegation looked a certainty?

I don't think so, just what often seems to happen at that level new manager brings a completely new team.

Padiham travel to Longridge Town tomorrow in the Macron cup. A game that was previously abandoned at half time with Padiham 2-0 up.

Also Padiham play Bacup Borough (League below) in the semi final of the Lancashire Challenge Trophy, final at Boltons ground so I believe.

The match at Longridge was postponed tonight (Tuesday) due to a waterlogged pitch. It has been rescheduled for Thursday night at 7.45 at the Arbories.
Refunds for those who attended the original abandoned game at Longridge should apply to Longridge Town FC.

Shows what Padiham were up against last year.

Wythenshawe Town lost over 200k in getting promoted, including paying George Boyd.
They seem to be struggling in the higher division.

The other big obstacle is Bury getting 15x their crowds.
