I just can't for the life of me understand why we aren't trying Foster as a #9, Flemming as a #10 and two wingers ON THE WING?

It's so frustrating.

I've wanted to see this too. But flemming hasn't done anything wrong in the 9 away from home. His recent record is fantastic. I just hope he tries it if this continues as a stalemate

This has been unusually poor from us today. Pompey are dominating us without having Brownhill as a 3rd midfielder.

Shelvey needs to come on at half time, Pompey are playing like a team who are desperate for points and going forward at every opportunity. If we get it right this second half we will pick them off imo.

At what point does Parker realise that Laurent is nowhere near technically good enough to be starting in central.midfield for a team wanting to win the league. He constantly hides from the ball and when he does receive the ball under pressure I suddenly realise why he hides in the first place.

I'd genuinely be looking at Bauress for the box to box role if Brownhill goes, he has technical ability along with great energy.

Defensively he offers great cover but agreed he is technically way off being able to play the pivot role that Cullen does in tight areas. He's much more affective playing higher up the pitch which is why this slow, laborious build up is a proper head scratcher. We looked so much better against Plymouth being more direct.

Well we have seen brownhill ineffective inWe need to stop putting square pegs the no 10 roll and now we are seeing sarmiento ( who is a very good player) absolutely the same ,so for me it,s not the players it's the system.We need to stop players playing out of position.For me foster in front of flemming and sarmiento on the left

Yep spot on. Parkers clearly having the same conundrum with Humphrey, he's dropped him about 5 times now so he's clearly not too convinced with him as a left back either.

He needs to make a decision on Pires either way. If he doesn't think he can step up then we need a new left back. Taylor was a no brainer for me, we missed out there.
