I'm no body language expert, but look how Parker scratches his head when he said that Koleosho and Brownhill were both injured!

I could be completely wrong, obviously! ;)

I am beginning to think it might be better not to get promoted this season We are nowhere near the Kompany team that went up and we know what happened to them. We also know Parker’s record after promotion.

What I found most interesting was when he said a couple of things were close, or words to that effect. We know about the Edwards (strong) rumours. It implies one other. Parker isn’t one to even go that far in an interview unless something is nearly done.

Let’s be honest, a blind man on a galloping horse can see we need ideally two statement signings high up the pitch. Parker isn’t blind, he must see it too. Pace also.

No point looking up front if we are designed to passing it around at the back and time wasting where possible to get the 0 - 0

I think that Parker was telling the truth about both of them. Why would Brownhill want to go to Celtic, for gods sake?

Better contract? Champions league football?

I wouldn't blame him.

The Kompany team that sauntered to promotion was quite different to the one that played the majority of games in the Prem.

Guaranteed silverware, play in Champions league every year? Maybe knows deep down he isn't quite good enough for the Prem.

Although I wouldn’t say I’m an expert, I’ve done a Behavioural Detection Course in work, which was fascinating.

Everyone has their own tell and go to when they either lie, or are trying to hide something.

Parker wasn’t being (entirely) truthful when giving that answer about Brownhill.
