Trafford- 7. Kept us in it but my God he has to try and speed it up sometime.

Roberts - 5. Did okay.
CJ- 7. Defended well. Passing a bit off
Esteve- 7*. Defended well. Probably best player on the day.
Pires- 4. Sometimes maybe good. Sometimes maybe bad. First half horrific. Could have been dragged off before half time.

Cullen- 6. Battled well but nothing in front of him.
Laurent- 5. Battled well but loose in possession

Anthony- 6. When he went forward great. Didn’t happen enough.
Sarmiento- 3. Did okay for about 5 minutes then non existent
Foster- 4. When he went forward looked good but is just a wasted body.

Flemming- 5. Did okay but there was no service.

Hannibal- 7. Looked to get us on front foot.
Barnes. Na

On Parker that. If Pompey could finish they’d have won that by 2 or 3. Leeds have pulled away and Sheff u are getting the job done. God knows what they do in training all week because that was dire today

Laurent - 6
Sarmiento - 4 long time since he’s played well

Foster - 4 Enough of this left wing nonsense
Flemming - 5

Hannibal - 7

We went for a point and got it - but we were very fortunate. Should qualify for the play-offs safely now

Trafford - 8 Great save at the end.
Roberts - 5 Maybe should have walked.
Esteve - 7 Steady again.
CJER - 7 Same as usual but passing off a bit today.
Pires - 3 A charlatan of a footballer. Send him back to Copacabana beach.
Anthony - 5 Did he beat his man? Did he put in a telling cross all game? That’s his job and he didn’t do it.
Cullen - 6 Didn’t run the game this week.
Laurent - 5 Took over the Mr Invisible mantle of Brownhill.
Sarmiento - 4 Lightweight. Send him back.
Foster - 4 Totally lost in that role. How can so many people see it doesn’t work but unfortunately the man who matters keeps persevering with him there.
Flemming - 5 Ashley Barnes mark 2 but a very substandard version. Probably on the floor for 75% of the match

Hannibal - 4 Never got into the game.

This season is a very worrying one. I don’t think there is any chance we end up top 2. Have we already started practicing penalties for when the play offs end up 0-0?

You can't defend the indefensible. That was a wretched performance against a team that freely concedes and who for extremely large parts looked the only winners of the game. We were extremely lucky to leave with a point

UNACCEPTABLE!

The manager is sucking the life out of the team and spirit out of the supporters. A dreadful display against a team who have already let in 52 goals.

Trafford 9 MOM because he actually affected the outcome late on
Roberts 5 clumsy and careless too often
Egan Riley 7 had a lot to do but dealt well with it
Esteve 6 defended well but 'oh dear' his passing needs working on
Pires 4 poor game. His passing too is not good enough
Anthony 5 Decent early on but then disappeared from the fray
Cullen 6 Tried hard but nothing around to support him
Laurent 5 Maybe he does a lot of unseen work but I didn't see it.
Sarmiento 4 Awful tackle on him in 2nd minute should have been red but then he disappeared so I suppose Dozzell did his job
Foster 4 Offers nothing on the left side. Later offered nothing down the middle
Flemming 5 If we had done our homework on the opposition we wouldn't have started with him. Got beaten and bullied but it's a thankless task up there on your own.
Hannibal 5 actually made them pass the ball back once simply by pressing their defender in possession.

Trafford 7 - Great save, still faffs about too much at times
Roberts 5 - Lucky boy
Egan Riley 8
Esteve 8
Pires 4 - Garbage. Play Humphreys
Cullen 5
Laurent 6
Sarmiento 3 - Was he playing?
Anthony 5 - End product is atrocious, and he’s soft
Foster 5
Flemming 5

Hannibal 6 - Seemed to improve us a bit tbf

Poor individual ratings reflecting lots of sloppiness, but the frustration there is more on the style and approach. Tough place to go or not, we should categorically not be settling for a point at Portsmouth, which bar a 10 minute or so spell in the 2nd half appears to be what we were doing. There is no rush in the team whatsoever.

The standard of this league is shocking so when you have Esteve and Egan-Riley with Trafford behind them, you can probably afford to take the odd risk and rarely get punished as we saw in the VK season. Even if we do only draw or end up losing the odd one, you can come away and say we had a do. And you’d rather win 3 lose 3 out of 6 than draw all 6.

Early goal and win on Tuesday or (rightly) there might be hell on.

Trafford 8. Recovered brilliantly from his error
Roberts 5
EJ 7
Steve 5. His worst game but can’t criticize after the season he has had
Pires 3 not good enough again
Anthony 5
Cullen 6 basically a 1 man midfield.
Laurent 5 invisible for long periods
Sarmiento 3
Flemming 5 no end product
Foster 5

Just a typical Burnley performance

How bad are we when James Trafford’s our MOM and he’s only had to make 2 saves?

Trafford 8

Roberts 3 actor
CJER 7
Esteve 7
Pirez 3 bad actor

Cullen 5 the crab needs a Cork next to him but, alas, he has:
Laurent 4 who is slow in thought and deed.
Sarmiento 3 worst actor of the lot. Stealing a living. This lad’s not a footballer.

Anthony 4 soft
Flemming 5 League 1 at best in the role Parker persists in playing him.
Foster 3 lazy. Get rid.

Hannibal 4 start him in midfield. At least he can run.

Parker 3 can’t score lower. Pathetic. This squad is good enough to compete but he doesn’t let them.

Trafford 7 one good save, but he frustrates me so much with his slow distribution
Roberts 6 too petulant agsin
CJ 7 the opposition is now waiting for his long crossfield balls
Esteve 7 steady away against a bullying team
Pires 4 not a great left back
Anthony 4 not even a decent Championship player
Cullen 7 our only midfielder today
Laurent 4 back to snail pace game
Sarimiemto 3 send him back whence he came
Flemming 5 swap positions with Foster, it might work
Foster 4 swap positions with Flemming, it might work
Hannibal 5 he's obviously learning from his red card, his swing at their player, which made contact, wasn't seen by the ref.
Nil apiece, quelle surprise. That was bloody awful, we were out fought by a poor team, who could have won that. It's now becoming hard to watch, this turgid, boring non-attacking style of play: it's draining the life out of me to be honest. Everyone I spoke to after the game (and Goodies Bar was packed out) was just as p!ssed off as I was. Please Mr Parker make changes in our forward play, because we look clueless at the moment.

Find the marks for the CBs quite strange.

Thought they were both pretty poor today.

What are you talking about??? I haven’t given him a rating. I was saying Flemming is a poor version of Ashley Barnes. Read it properly next time…

Trafford - 8* - great performance

Roberts - 6 - standard
CJER - 7 - good performance
Esteve - 6 - a rare average performance
Pires - 4 - a Wayne Dowell week - though he should have had a clear penalty from his shot

Cullen - 6 - decent enough
Laurent - 6 - decent enough
Sarmiento - 3 - really crap

Foster - 4 - Crap
Femming - 4 - Crap
Anthony - 5 - a bit better than crap

Hannibal - 4 - crap

The front 4 were dire today, absolutely dire, and Pires should give you that attacking edge that Humphreys lacks - but he doesn't. How Barnes only came on as time was up is a mystery. And why we have three lads on the bench who can play centre back is beyond me - a complete waste of time.

Clear penalty not given - but that would have merely papered over what was an inept performance against a really poor side.

Missed a section of the second half so can't do full ratings, but I've seen enough now to know that if we have any aspirations of finishing in the top 2, these things need to happen:

Pires only plays if Humphreys is injured
Sarmiento only plays as an impact sub or not at all, he has been dreadful for months now.
Only play Laurent if we have a match against the better teams, need Hannibal and Shelvey in to create more from midfield.
Hopefully Edwards hits the ground running (if he signs)
Foster is not the answer, neither is Koleosho.
Think we need another striker as well as Edwards coming in.

And above all (and apologies for swearing) inject some fecking urgency into the play. Knowing full well both Leeds and the Blades are winning and Trafford is standing on the ball for 30 seconds with 15 mins to go. Totally unacceptable :(

Maybe my expectation is too high but the clean sheet seems to be all consuming and the visible lack of forward progress means these draws are turning from points gained to points lost.

A rare away trip for me joining the London Clarets trip at Woking

Trafford 8 Won a point for us
Roberts 6 On a yellow quite early
Egan-Riley 8 His long rangers were off today
Estève 7
Pires 4 Quite a number of passes given away
Cullen 6 Best of the midfield
Laurent 5 tried
Anthony 6 no service really
Sarmiento 4 another no show and on his arse a lot
Foster 4 Poor down the left, its no longer working
Flemming 5 No service but on his arse a lot

Hannibal 5 Wasted in the 10

Barnes should have be on 20 minutes earlier

Pompey were better than us.

Leeds and Sheff Utd are going to score there way to the top two, we are trying to defend our way to it and hope the others slip up more than we do

We have the most expensive team in the league. It’s embarrassing how we set up to play.

Trafford 7 - good distribution good late save
Roberts 5- ok I suppose
Pires 5- really don’t get him above BH
Esteve 7- very steady
CJ 7- polished as usual
Cullen 6- kept at it
Laurent 4-another average champ player
Sarmiento 4 - invisible ,on the deck a lot
Anthony 5- not his day today
Foster 5- very mediocre as ever
Flemming 4- he’s just a basic champ player , goes down far to easily

Hannibal 6- should start or not at all

What are you talking about??? I haven’t given him a rating. I was saying Flemming is a poor version of Ashley Barnes. Read it properly next time…
Flemming isn’t a striker and to compare him to Barnes shows a real lack of knowledge when it comes to football.
