I'll always remember him from the children's TV show 'Wizadora' in the early to mid 90s. I was a tad too old for the programme itself but watched it due to fancying Wizadora.

Excellent comedy actor - I’m sure he was also in Brookside for a time.

He was superb in Man about the House and then with Mildred. One of the brilliant old school actors. RIP Brian.

That's sad, RIP Brian Murphy and his good friend Yootha Joyce who died back in 1980.

They were both great in George and Mildred, they made a much better show than Man About the House.

Oh George

Wonderful in Man about the house, George and Mildred, LOTSW and the part made for him in the Boose cruise.

He was married to Linda Regan, April from Hi-De-Hi
