Not sure I want three at the back in the league to be honest, but the absolute best thing about it was his willingness to adapt and play different formations.

Against certain teams it would work and allow other players to shine like it did today.
A really good test that we can go to this formation as it worked

Didn't see the game but having read comments on the system I think we've already used it once this season at Luton.

We had Vitinho - Roberts - O'Shea - Esteve - Pires as a back 5 out of possession.

I'd imagine we'll stick with the back 4 in the league this season, but if we manage to win promotion we'll probably use a back 5 more frequently.
