Re: Hannibal
He was outstanding today.....! Two or three of his passes warmed the cockles. Mind you it was effing freezing and an ice cube down the undies would have warmed the cockles as well.
Re: Hannibal
Gives us a real advantage when he’s on form as he effectively does the job of 2 players such is his engine & stamina. He fulfils the box to box role as well as being able to get up & support flemming as a 10.
His energy allows us to overload areas that we wouldn’t normally be able to. He doesn’t have the goal threat of Brownhill but he is a better footballer and can control & move the ball faster when we attack.
If he can cut out the pettiness as he matures (most of it) there’s a top player in there.

Going to be interesting when Brownhill is back and available!!
I think he’s done so well recently, seems to have moved on from being somewhat of a liability, but can’t deny his effort.

Re: Hannibal
I was guilty of expecting too much of him early season. He presses really well and his composure and use of the ball in tight spaces is excellent. The only weakness is the attacking side of things in terms of scoring goals and creating chances, aslong as we have enough goals and assists from elsewhere then it shouldn't matter.
Tough choice for Parker but I think we will see Laurent benched eventually when Brownhill is back up and running.

Re: Hannibal
If JB is off ( or thinks he is) I’d absolutely play Hannibal instead of him. We just seem silkier without Brownhill.

Re: Hannibal
I reckon he could be the difference against PNE tomorrow.
The way he's playing is going to disrupt the best laid plans of most sides in this division.
Already on his way to becoming a Clarets cult figure.
