Wow. I was only listening to her version of Janis Ian's 'Jesse' about 2 hours ago and being reminded of what a spectacular voice she had.

Really good documentary on Amazon (I think) done a couple of years ago - Roberta. Well worth a watch.

That advert on TV with her beautiful voice is very poignant now. One of the all time greats.

Sad to hear this. I saw her at the Royal Albert Hall way back in the mid 70's. Just her with a piano, a guy on double bass and a guitarist. Absolutely brilliant. The First Time ever I saw your face showed her fantastic voice to it's maximum.
