Wow. That was absolutely horrendous.

Kompany levels of gutlessness on show.

Awful first half. Best we can hope for is extra time now. Kolenoshow is the most frustrating winger I’ve very seen. Gives them the ball more than their own team

Roberts, Laurent, Flemming on for Sonne, Shelvey and Sarmiento. Please.

Edwards only to come on for the last 20/30 if we have pulled one back otherwise little point.

I’ve been impressed with Parker for a few months now, but playing that midfield (including the wingers) against one of the most physical sides in the league, was always going to be risky.

Clear to see a number of these players aren't good enough to warrant a starting place. Some are more questionable than others.

The idea that Worrall is a better player than Ekdal is almost laughable.

Also, it seems really poor that a player accused of racist abuse weeks ago is allowed to play and celebrate like that whilst being lauded by his own fans, whilst the player who was abused is not able to play in case of a reaction. It's absolutely ridiculous that it has been dealt with before today and this situation has been allowed to occur.

If we want to win, then we need another forward with Foster. Either Barnes or Flemming for Sarmiento.

If we don't want to win, on the other hand ...

.... and for all those th at love to slate Laurent all the time, that is exactly why he's playing over Shelvey.

Hladky - we need a better #2, he's been caught flat footed in every game he's played for us.

Worrall - stuck in the mud. Could perhaps play in a low block but not what we need.

Sarmiento - how many chances? Powderpuff, ineffective footballer.

You could substitute just about anyone and they wouldn’t be able to complain.

Keeper unconvincing at best. Defence all over the place. Midfield a turgid mess. Wingers and striker invisible.

As against Lincoln, looks like a team believing its own press and it’s going to take a quantum leap in performance to get anything out of this. Light years away from good enough.

Terrible team selection. We're playing with one midfielder in Shelvey and and a load of light weight fancy dancers in front of him (Koleosho, Sarimiemto, Benny). They've hit us hard and scared us to death.

Shellvey is not the answer, his legs have gone. We’re totally unbalanced in midfield. Sonne isn’t Robert’s either. Totally wrong selection all over the pitch.

That free kick was in a perfect position for Robbie Brady, you could see it coming, a cracking strike. Less said about their second the better

A defense in which only Esteve seem to know what he is doing
No midfield
Nothing up front
Other than that we haven't been too bad

That second goal is a shambles of a goal to give away. From the crap header by Esteve to Brownhill who in turn played a pathetic pass to a Preston players face, the shambolic tracking back of Koleosho and the ball watching of Worral

Pathetic and it's probably done for us today

I'd be tempted to make 5 changes if we have any interest in staying in the competition.

Hladky
Sonne EJ Esteve Pires
Brownhill Laurent
Edwards Flemming Koleosho
Barnes

There is absolutely no chance Worrall is better than Ekdal, Ekdal never looked threatened at this level, always in control, he just lacked pace for the PL in a high line.

Osmajic has been found guilty of nothing and PNE can play him if they like. It’s then up to us to deal with him and so far we haven’t. It’s not Heckinbottom’s fault Worrall turns like milk.

He does, but Worrall is ridiculously slow to react.

Shite from both of them, but if a central striker runs in and scores from that position, I’d be expecting the nearest centre half to actually track him.

Absolutely disgraceful set of circumstances that the lad who’s been racially abused who would be perfect for a game like this has been left out presumably for his own good and the sh!t that did it plays and then behaves like that.
Shows the gulf in class between Parker and Heckingbottom.
