It's a farce that set up, seem to sign players every week and chop and change. Maybe that was down to Rebecca
Let some really good players go in the summer who look to be doing better than the current Burnley side.

We were doing really well until 3 games ago when we lost an on paper easy match, then the wheels fell off. I don't know why, or if the coach was the problem, but it seems strange to replace her when until very recently all was going well. I don't think our owners are that ruthless.

May be this has something to do with it, without knowing why the position became available

Re: Burnley Women's head coach.
They were in the hunt for promotion until a few games ago. I picked both the Stoke and Rugby games up from half time when they were leading in both. They looked ok going forwards but as soon as Stoke and Rugby attacked them they seemed to fall apart. Wheels came off in both games and against teams they would have been expecting to beat I think.
No idea how much is being chucked at it but from what (admittedly little) i saw I don't think this has come as a surprise.
The turnover of players will surely not have helped but is that to do with heading towards going professional and the players we let go perhaps didn't think that was for them? I know a few came back to haunt us.

From what I’ve heard I don’t think she’s very well thought of amongst players.

Yeah saw that earlier. My sister has played with a few of the players she let go and they’ve not spoken very highly of her either. Froze out a lot of the ‘original’ Burnley based players I believe.

Re: Burnley Women's head coach.
They’ve always been flat track bullies, beating all the smaller teams easily but poor against the better sides. She pushed out a lot of good players and seemed to run a revolving door policy on transfers. I don’t think many will be sad to see her gone.
