Didn't have a good game against Wednesday.

Here's the analysis and stats to prove it...
https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/burnl ... nghislips/

I think it's time for a change in midfield. Hannibal alongside Cullen, with Brownhill further forward.
I hope you have a poor day at work and discussions start about changing the workforce or taking you off an important project, and see how you'd feel about... coz that's what you've done here. Why? What's your point if it isn't to criticise?

If we're going to talk statistics his pass completion rate was 87.5% against Wednesday, which is decent. No need to slate the guy.

I think today's performance has given me hope he could play for us in the Premier league next season.
Superb physicality from him, which we have missed for a long time.

Josh Laurent is NOT a good signing, considering the fee we paid for him.

He's just a fantastic signing. No qualifiers needed.

I'm one of his biggest critics, credit where credits due, he was superb today, and I thought it was a mistake not playing him against west brom.

Battered their midfield today. Let’s not forget it was a very poor Swansea team though.

Excellent today - MOM!

But I don’t agree with the rest of your comments. We need someone with Laurent’s physicality and athleticism but with great footballing ability. No way is Laurent good enough to play effectively in the PL, in my opinion.

Played well today, good player, good signing but not MOM.

Cullen absolutely bossed it in midfield today.

He seemed to be tiring towards halftime and expected him to be taken off but made some good runs late on to keep the ball down the Swansea end .

Really good today but did give us one glaring example of what he struggles with when he had his pocket picked by a Swansea player closing him down from behind.

He didn't have a clue he was there and confirmed again that he doesn't have the awareness needed to get to a higher level. It's a shame because his physical attributes and ability to drive forward are excellent.

There are doubts about every single player we have in regards to playing in the Premier league.

But it's good to see some players showing signs they could, even if just as squad players.
We don't want to be signing 20 players if we can help it.

Today I thought Laurent did a lot of the dirty work-his defensive covering was very good, when his team mates were out of position.

Noticed a few posts that praise Laurent then in the same sentence or post knock him down. Some can't help themselves, I'm guessing he's not their favourite / eating humble pie.

Best Bargain signing ever for us maybe ?

When a defender bombed forward - he was in their postition covering - covered ground and allows Cullen to do his job to the best of his ability and brings us forward himself

Sometimes players need the right players I.e Laurent there allows Brownhill in the 10

We didn’t have this on Tuesday and that I think would have been the difference but SP knows and obviously rotates him for a reason …

Not a slight on Hannibal the Josh’s are are the Best Starter, Main and Pudding we have

The issue is we don't get that level from him every week. He was up for it and as hungry as I've seen. Consistency is key for the Prem.

Peter Noble and Michael Duff are way ahead on that one .

He's perfect for the more rough and tumble affairs in this league. Less so in the tighter more technical games. He is certainly an asset and will be invaluable in the next 8 games I would think.

A very good, often under rated player. Contributes huge amounts to the team, from a balance and an energy perspective.

I've liked him from his first game at home to Rovers. Gives us some much needed drive in midfield. I appreciate he's not technically amazing but that's why he's in the Championship and cost 500k. You need players like Laurent.

He's a championship Yaya Toure. And I'm not joking.
An absolute bargain.

No coincidence that there are 3 players that I know Parker was very keen to get on board -Anthony,Laurent and Edward’s and they definitely have been incredibly influential in our performances
