kept reading "Sheff Utd are crap and are lucky". I've turned it off, battering Coventry.
Probably end the season with the second highest number of wins ever in a championship season.

Edwards.
Not being rude about Edwards, he’s obviously a good player, but hasn’t smashed a FK in like that or really won a game in an individual way yet. Hopefully that comes in the last 8 though.

Takes some arrogance to suggest Sheff Utd are a bad side. If they’re bad what are we?

Coventry rubbish, as is the ref (again).

Player kicks out late at keeper, keeper stretchered off, ref missed it. Was a yellow.

Back to Coventry, big difference between hoovering up little teams and us at the top. They are high tempo but it leads to errors and they are getting picked off. Very much hope we do the same next week.

Missing a regular cb tonight who is ill, he’ll be back against us, typically!

Not watched a lot of Cov in their recent run under Lampard but struggling to see what’s earned them their recent form at the moment.

We've won games more easily which we wouldn't have so easily if he hadn't been playing. You don't have to be the player that sticks a spectacular goal in to be very effective.

Coventry’s defence are getting no protection from their midfield.

Blades should be over the horizon by now.

Coventry are dismal at the back.

This first half is very worrying. Coventry are probably the second best team in the division after Leeds and had Lampard been in charge from the summer they'd probably be top so I expected them to get a draw at the very least.

The fact that Sheff Utd can make them look so ordinary really shows the challenge Burnley have to come in the top 2 and with teams like Sunderland, Coventry and West Brom likely to be in the play offs there's a good chance the side who finishes 3rd wont go up

Top of my head think it was Reading with 32

For reference our best is 28 wins. Sheffield are on 26 now with 7 games left.

A goal tomorrow and his goals per game and assists per game will be about the same as Hamer, and he is often taken off on 60.

Both very good players at this level, but, as you allude, seasons are defined by which big players come to the party at the tail end.

Very impressed with Campbell -very direct and decisive
Can see a few PL teams tracking him after tonight
We have to hope for a miracle now with Coventry getting an early second half goal

If Lampard can actually get angry then he needs to get stuck into some of his players, sluggish at times with no penetration. Sheff U are playing well, unfortunately I can’t see them dropping any points in the rest of their games including against us.

Loads of time in training now and presumably up to match fitness, so let’s hope we see the best of him in the last 8.

I thought about Sunderland after I had posted but they couldn't keep up with us all. We have all struggled against teams that sit back. Maybe Coventry should have put everyone behind the ball and hit on the break but that isn't Lampard's way.

Just looked at the teams Coventry have beaten on their recent run. Apart from Sunderland there is nobody of note. SKY have really bigged them up. It will be interesting tomorrow to see how good Bristol City are.

I know we are totally biased by Brereton-Diaz is an absolute weapon. Noticed on the games I’ve watched with Sheff U he has to get involved in any challenges anywhere on the pitch. He is a Mr P Rick

This Coventry side is somehow in the play-off places and yet their points total is closer to the relegation zone than top of the table.. I just hope they're this bad when we play them.

Coventry's attempt at a passing game is miles beneath our level.
