They work occasionally, but I'll never believe they offer a higher xG.

Norwich still giving us the ball in plenty of compromising positions. They've maybe looked more a goal threat, but their defense has not changed.

Why do we hate corner kicks? We essentially eschew them in favor of more posession around the box.

I can never understand why with Esteve and E-Rs pace they don’t stand a yard directly behind their forward and the ball over the top would be pointless. Instead they play in line with them hoping for the offside or that their pace can get them out of trouble. If it’s played up to feet we are still close enough to get the challenge in.
