Re: Ashley Westwood - Charlotte - Eastern Conference
They’ve had a very good start to the season and the signing of Wifrid Zaha has made a positive impact on their team. Westwood seems to be loving his time there judging by his social media and interviews he has given.IanMcL wrote: ↑Sun Apr 20, 2025 1:32 pmThe result is on the BBC fixtures/results.

He was exactly the same at Burnley, maybe not completely immersed in the community but always pleasant and chatty with fans.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sun Apr 20, 2025 2:31 pmHe seems to be absolutely loving life, completely immersed in the community and loved by the fans.

I didn't know Arfield had gone back to his first club.

Went back there at the end of January transfer window on a 6 month deal with an option of a further year. Scored 45 seconds on his return on his way to a hat trick and currently has 8 goals in 9 games.

I'm glad for Ashley. Seems to have gone there fully committed and it's proving successful.

Given this board seems obsessed with resigning ex-players I'm surprised nobody has suggested it yet.

You'd imagine they'll want to keep him.claretburns wrote: ↑Mon Apr 21, 2025 12:09 pmWent back there at the end of January transfer window on a 6 month deal with an option of a further year. Scored 45 seconds on his return on his way to a hat trick and currently has 8 goals in 9 games.
