Top performance against a team with zero interest in playing this game but you can only beat what’s in front of you and we did that emphatically. Best team in the league.

From very good Paramount+ TV coverage. Can’t give anyone lower than a 9 after such a superb performance.

Trafford 9 Largely untroubled, showed some nifty footwork from one awkward backpass, and one cracking low save to preserve the clean sheet. His mid-range passing out has become very good.
Roberts 9 His usual enthusiastic self.
Egan Riley 9 Confident and solid.
Esteve 9 He is deceptively quick when those long legs get moving.
Pires 9 Run of games seems to have improved him no end, some nice link ups with Anthony.
Cullen 9 Fantastic awareness and brilliant short quick passing
Brownhill 9 Great movement and some clever touches and turns
Hannibal 9 Fast feet, great control, endless energy, really becoming a brilliant player.
Koleosho 9 Looked dangerous with much improved crosses and cutbacks such as leading to the second goal.
Anthony 9 Some excellent driving runs.
Flemming 9 Two goals to end his season, and has done an admirable job filling in as the front man

Subs:
Sarmiento 9 Good energy and skill, fortunate deflection for his first but he was there to get on the end of lovely move to get the shot in.
Good to see Ramsey and Redmond get 10 minutes at the end on their roads to full fitness.
Wonderful team performance with such passion and determination, and the slick passing and interchanges were superb.

Saw today from the home end (but it was worth it). Not far from the Burnley following though, and must say our fans today absolutely drained the ground-they were magnificent

Roberts 7 steady performance-one clanger in the first half when they got through
Esteve 9-absolutely collosal
CJ 8, rock steady
Pires 8-his best game
Brownhill 8 -great assist and some great attacking play
Cullen 8-the midfield controller
Hannibal 8-massive energy
Anthony 7-quieter game
Koleosho 8- had a point to prove, he was full of energy and outstanding
Flemming 8-two well taken goals, he is getting very sharp in the box

Pretty sensational afternoon. A side brimming with confidence and the football was liquid at times. You have to admire the desire to keep another clean sheet too. Just fantastic all round.

A great team performance on and off the ball. QPR simply couldn't live with us. That chase back by five Burnley players when they had a fast break chance just before half time was incredible and just epitomizes what Parker has now instilled into this young team. Who knows what we could achieve with a couple of quality signings.

As was pointed out to me when I asked the question yesterday - it was Flemming in the cup at Reading.

In the league, I think MDWat is correct with Barnes against Bournemouth in 2018/19.

And the first Burnley player ever to score twice having come on as a substitute was Andy Farrell against Carlisle in March 1991.
