Aberdeen player hit by seat!

Are things getting worse or are these incidents just highlighted more?

A Burnley fan cleaned a Wrexham out in 91. I’m pretty sure he was carted off amid all the celebrations.
I think it’s just highlighted more now.

Wasn't a Policeman hit with one when we played Millwall and they broke the seats in the CFS when we used to give the whole stand to away fans 🤔

Not so sure about cleaned out, the fan just flicked the ball away from the Wrexham player running down the wing.

That's awful. He's lucky he wasn't killed or blinded by it.

Poor comparison to getting hit with a seat. I doubt the Wrexham player was wheeled off the pitch.

Yeah, the two things are very different, as is the coverage. However, even back in the early 90s I think it was pretty clear that tripping a player was a stupid thing to do.

Millwall fans were towards the back of the stand . They hit more of their own fans with the seats than anything else

Might be a false memory then ... but I was sure I remembered one of the Robocops being felled by a flying wooden seat.
