They found that out as well.Dressinggown wrote: ↑Sun May 25, 2025 7:35 pmWhen your wicketkeeper who can stand up to the the stumps for the likes of Joey Hawke has to be over a pitch length away from Walker then he must be a bit rapid.
He can also bat a bit.

It was also sodding freezing. Some arrived and called it a day after an hour or two. That wind was a nightmare.

Eee! Yer all soft nowadays, back in my day the breeze out of that empty trophy room meant it was always freezing anywhere around that corner of Liverpool Road and Lowerhouse Lane.Dressinggown wrote: ↑Sun May 25, 2025 11:11 pmIt was also sodding freezing. The wind definitely was a nightmare! Sightscreens blew over and smashed at Harwood (could have been really dangerous to anyone walking nearby!) and game delayed for some considerable time resulting in a reduction of overs. Never seen that before.Dressinggown wrote: ↑Sun May 25, 2025 11:11 pmIt was also sodding freezing. Some arrived and called it a day after an hour or two. That wind was a nightmare.
