Tottenham ticket information
Pardon the naivety. My family want to take our son to the Tottenham game. We'd need 4 tickets so my question is this. Its likely to sell out in our end but what chances do we have in the home end? We'd be no trouble my boy is 6.

Re: Tottenham ticket information
It depends if the club risk selling 3k or take the lesser 1500 allocation.
Re: Tottenham ticket information
Surely we won't be stupid enough to take a reduced allocation first game of the season?

Re: Tottenham ticket information
They have enough time to organise an expression of interest to gage how many want to go.
It's a rare opportunity for our fans to book trains early enough to get a cheaper train ticket.

We booked yesterday and got Preston - Euston return £64 each for 3 of us (price was with a 2together railcard) not many decent prices from Manchester or Preston
Re: Tottenham ticket information
Are they going to change the amount of loyalty points required to purchase in each window of availability or will it remain the same as last season, i.e. 2000 points required for first window.

Just had a quick look at Leeds to King's Cross and it was 66 without a railcard.claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 19, 2025 8:38 amWe booked yesterday and got Preston - Euston return £64 each for 3 of us (price was with a 2together railcard) not many decent prices from Manchester or Preston
There's more trains going direct from Bradford to London now, that might be worth checking for some.

We took 1,400 last time but just over 3,000 on our first visit in 2019.

Re: Tottenham ticket information
Wouldn’t shock me if we took the 1500 allocation. It’s mid summer holidays so lots of people will be away. That said, first game after 3 months off, height of summer in London.
Like the post above that an expression of interest survey might be a good idea.

Re: Tottenham ticket information
As said above, it depends on what allocation we take. I think that the options at Spurs are 1200 or 3000. If we take the 3000 we would have to sell 2100 to avoid having to pay for the whole 3000. As for trying to get them in the home ends, they probably have a membership system but even if you could get them they'd be very expensive compared with the £30 away tickets.Inchysince1993 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 18, 2025 10:53 pmPardon the naivety. Booked my train as soon as the fixtures came out yesterday. £70 each return from Manchester for me and my dad with a Two Together railcard.
Hopefully take the 3k allocation but not sure we will.

Is the fixture set in stone already? Spurs play in the super cup in Italy on the Wednesday before.

Re: Tottenham ticket information
Shouldn't be an issue Wednesday to Saturday and you'd like to think any request was made before the fixtures being announced. Not ruling it out but both Spurs and the Prem have had long enough to decide.

Spurs playing on a Wednesday shouldn't cause any issue at all as 1989_claret said.

Re: Tottenham ticket information
This isn't a ticket selling site. The thread is about ticket info for the game. It depends how many loyalty points you have and the allocation we take which ultimately will dictate liklihood of getting a ticket.
There are numerous threads / topics on loyalty points.
If we take the smaller allocation they will not make general sale I wouldn't imagine. Take the larger allocation and there is a chance they will make general allocation.
If you have more than 2000 loyalty points (highest threshold last season) you won't have anything to worry about.

Re: Tottenham ticket information
We will take the lower amount. Last time we played them was a pointless game at the end of the season. This time it is the first game of the season, spurs are poor, and schools are off and a lot will want to make a weekend of it. We will easy sell close to 3,000, but the club don’t see it this way. They only go off what we sold last time we played at spurs, even though it was an entirely different circumstance, this is never taken into consideration.

Re: Tottenham ticket information
1st game back and away to spurs. You would expect maximum allocation. Would be poor from the club to accept just 1200..RickyBobby wrote: ↑Thu Jun 19, 2025 1:25 pmWe will take the lower amount. Maybe common sense also retired with Elaine?ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Jun 19, 2025 9:20 amWe have done that in the past when Elaine was running the ticket office. It allowed her to make a sensible decision on which allocation to take.

Re: Tottenham ticket information
The last time we played them there was far from a pointless game, it was the game that relegated us after defeat. A win would have kept the possiblity of a fight to the last dayRickyBobby wrote: ↑Thu Jun 19, 2025 1:25 pmWe will take the lower amount. Re: Tottenham ticket information
I was thinking why is everyone ignoring the FA cup game that was the last game, and the time before was a lunchtime kick off on a Sunday so not really comparable either. Even though I was there I must have entirely blocked the Kompany match from my mind.
Re: Tottenham ticket information
We'll be a national laughing stock if we don't take the full allocation for this one.
Must admit with our track record i'm a bit wary about booking the train, if we only take 1500 i probably won't get one.

Seriously hoping we take the full allocation, as I will be over from the USA and this is probably the only chance I'll have to see a live game the whole season!

True given where clubs of a similar size to us are in the country, but equally there are probably 5 who are highly unlikely to fill our away end in Bournemouth, Palace, Fulham, Brighton and Brentford

Weird isn't it that Palace who proclaim to have some of the best supporters in football have such a poor away following. You'd think the Palace Ultras would have no problem shifting a couple of thousand tickets for our matchclaretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 20, 2025 10:44 amTrue given where clubs of a similar size to us are in the country, but equally there are probably 5 who are highly unlikely to fill our away end in Bournemouth, Palace, Fulham, Brighton and Brentford

Would have thought that for Saturday game they'd sellout at the Turf but it's a Wednesday this time. We'll struggle to shift a1000 at their place.

Sorry if I am being really thick, but have Sky announced any fixtures yet? If Spurs are in the Super Cup the preceding g Wednesday that will rule Friday out but this game could be moved for tv to Sunday or Monday?

Re: Tottenham ticket information
The difference is the borough of Croydon has a population of 400k. Basically Crystal Palace have a catchment area that is many times greater than ours, probably well over a million when you take into account the wider area around Surrey.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Jun 21, 2025 9:08 amThey bring considerably more to Burnley than we take there
Re: Tottenham ticket information
That's correct but they do have a good away following.
Re: Tottenham ticket information
This is a bit of a strange way to assess London clubs though. Haringey has a population of ~ 250k which makes spurs's crowds pretty good but there is a slim chance they may be getting fans from other boroughs and fans from that borough may support other teams.
