Tbf there is a lot of overhang from the BLS roof which makes it seem a lot more out of kilter than the seated areas are
Whilst you’re right, there’s clearly 4-5m difference on that other side….

I will be one of those who is in the minority affected in a big way. My immediate view will be the Bob Lord wall. Whilst I am pragmatic and will move round and stand in other areas, this is absolutely poor from the club. I haven't been told yet other than things on here. It's a poor choice of Lower Longside or shut up and stay put. I would pay extra to upgrade to somewhere I would prefer. There must be other seats that they use for "walk ons" I love it when people who are not affected are telling us to accept change etc, "we are all right Jack" springs to mind.
It’s not affecting me and easy for me to say these things happen but when they do happen the club should absolutley sort you out with something you are happy with … even if that means upgrading you …

If fans are going to be getting less for their hard earned then they should be accommodated 100 percent

So in theory (assuming the home fans are going to have more than the away and thus a bigger proportion of the stand) couldn’t they shift the season tickets over in such a way that if you were on the touch line before, you’d still be on the touch line when it’s mirrored? You’d then be left with a handful of seats down the edge that could go to walk ons.

Well this would be a very good start. I would sincerely hope that the club have already considered this.

In reality it will not be much of an issue, if the last Premier Zone campaign was anything to go by, I will be able to pick my seat after 20 minutes anyway. There are always gaps. It's the timing off the communications that's a concern. I should have had choice before I purchased.

Or perhaps I just have many more years of disappointment.

Got to go with Doug on this one. A mirror swap would suggest to me end seat for end seat. Still happy days time for an extra beer in the Miners before the game and will be first in after the game

My view on JJ was always shite anyway, plus there was always some 7ft high lad (always a different one) who’d block my view. Some real dickheads started to stand near us as well. Much better access off Harry Potts way and I think the var area downstairs will be better laid out than the crush fest we currently have. Let’s see, I’m open minded. We’ve only been back in there for less than a decade anyway. Hope those with mobility issues are sorted, but the change to all safe standing might have scuppered them anyway.

I really don't understand how this is going to get built in three weeks. Especially if there's not even planning permission in place.
I think the plan will be to move the turnstiles first, then build around then during the season.

The space now allocated, unless i'm wrong, may well be larger than before, and so perhaps the end 5 or so seats might not be allocated.....

They'll move the centre divide to make the away end bigger

Remember when i was a kid they messed up our seats in the Bob Lord. Luckily at that time we were rubbish and getting about 9 thousand on so they could offer us better seats. Problem is thats not really an option now. And i don't think the new regime give a toss about your average supporter.
I've never felt like the club like Burnley FC actually liked their fans but this lot take it to a whole new **** you level

I have responded to the club email, I got yesterday. Nothing positive and many questions relating to safety.

What's the point of having the alleged 'choir', remote from the Longside and adjacent to the sleepy Bob Lord? All soind will be lost over time.

There is a possibility it might also add to the atmosphere. Having the away fans sandwiched between the usual cricket field standers and the longside will give interaction from 2 sides instead of the one now. There wont have been much noise towards the away fans coming fron the Bob Lord side

Given the pretty average output from CFS in recent times and the much less effort in Longside, I fear the worst!

Probably need a drum to hear from the Longside!

At least it will be nearer the Chairman snd a long way from the Longside Upper!

Actually, perhaps you can choose to have a drum, in this Virtual Reality set up!

At the moment, NL1 is where the community groups sell their tickets. With players families in the box behind.

Not sure either group will appreciate away fans swearing at them or even throwing objects over.

I think bringing back the drum is a great idea. It should be situated in the Bob Lord Stand just behind the posh seats.

Corky, I’d rather a drummer be sat next to the Chairman. That will soon end their idea of adding match atmosphere.

There's a bit of a wall there at NL1 though isnt there? A little bit of protection & Im guessing they'll hear plenty of foul language coming from the block next to them every game

Not sure as i never sit there. It was quite common at the Longside end when the CF was away fans only.
They ended up not selling the nearest block to away fans.

The phrase developing the corners of the CFS was used
Obviously the new tunnel and the Fanzone at the Bob Lord End but is there any plans for the space that will be left by the tunnel relocation between the CFS and Longside as that’s a bigger area than on the Bob lord side?

I said this relocation of the away end likely requires two segregations

Just seen an I have moved back a row as well.

Bloody annoying as my brother has the ticket directly behind me and now his ticket is in the block behind. We were previously on the last 2 rows of a block of seats.

Looks like they haven’t exactly “mirrored” the stand, I was 1 column of blocks from the away fans, now it seems I’m one column of blocks from the side of the stand with a worse view…

View comparison. Top one being the new one taken from my future seat by a Wolves fan, the bottom one is the seat I paid for.

Assuming these are the actual seats... yet to be announced.

The moving back a row I suspect is not really moving back a row, but them adjusting the rows. A couple of seasons back they had new row markers made for wall on the row ends. Someone obviously messed it up as the row markers that weren’t meant to go where the columns were done vertically, so AA on top of each other and BB written next to each other. However when they went to fit them the row numbers didn’t correspond correctly and the AA was on the wall vertically and the BB was on the column overlapping. I bet they have been corrected.

That’s the response I’ve just got from the ticket office
Surely there's not many places left in the ground to relocate to, most of the ground is taken up by season ticket holders & the ones left are for walk ons that nobody wanted ..,

How /where you get to view that? I can't see anything in the tickets section.
There are a few different websites with views uploaded, but I had a look on here. Doesn’t have every seat mind, so a bit of luck whether yours is on here.

That was my view. Only a pole on the left sideline and a clear view of both goals 😭
you look to be a few rows behind me - I'm on the front of that block next to the aisle where the gate is

Relocate to where though? Are they suddenly going to pull some new vacant seats out of their backside?

it'll be the seats where you need a wetsuit to watch in the winter - for my it would need to be 3 seats together, although my 15 year old who is on the Autistic Spectrum is already having meltdowns because his seat has changed and I may well just cancel his ticket (It took me 3 years to persuade him to go and sit in that seat as it was!)
