If you start things off with tresor being unhappy & not getting his move & go from there. To me things are like a jigsaw & when you start piecing things together you form a picture. It's not pace making a "single stupid comment" in isolation although that's a piece of the jigsaw. Far too many things are unexplained which should be in a coherent structured chain it's far easier to accept another plausible theory which makes more sense than try to explain various unknowns.
There isnt unknowns now though. The picture that originally started this post shows he has had quite a serious operation, CT has mentioned on this thread and previously some time ago that he knew that he wasnt going to be fit to play (presumably because of it). Alan Pace did what he thought was right to protect the player and not give out information he shouldnt (I believe) but inadvertantly ended up making it worse. I think we'd be incorrect to cling onto that particular sentence from that evening.
In view of all this i think its time we all gave him support he clearly needs.

But those trivial pieces only make sense if you totally discount the idea that Parker was telling the truth and that Tresor has had a major operation. You could "prove" the earth is flat if you discount any evidence that it is round.
He wouldn't be the first manager. I'm more inclined to believe a series of circumstancial events that all seem to fall into place & make sense to me. It doesn't make sense why Ajax would try to pursue a loan deal for somebody who's supposedly poorly & recovering from this alleged operation. It doesn't make sense the only thing that makes sense to me is my belief. I'm happy to agree to disagree. Have a good day.

It seems through this thread that you have made your mind up and will not budge and that's your choice to stand firm should you wish to do that. To me though it makes it very hard for me or anyone to feel your opinion holds any weight as you seem a closed book on it.
The only thing close to a fact is that he's been really ill and it's up to him if he wants to keep it private - absolutely non of our business. Does lack of information cause speculation - Tresor is a perfect example.
Did potentially want away if he was recovering well at that time ? Wouldn't be surprised and I can also speculate that the way he felt with certain parts of the fans hammering him he would want away ...
An actual 'Fact' still remains that if we can get the best pit of Tresor we are a better team for it and lets hope that happens

I am convinced there's a bloke with a gun who goes round the Burnley area forcing folks to argue with Jakub. It's the only explanation.

By "alleged" operation, are you suggesting that Tresor has posted a fake photo with a fake scar?

We don't know if it's a real scar or when the scar occurred. I'm not suggesting anything because I don't know on a 100% basis same as you. I've stated my opinion & that should be that I've even explained my reasoning behind that. I'd love to believe differently unfortunately too many things don't make sense to me & other explanations offer more credibility.

It's very strange why a club are trying to sign somebody who's supposed to be poorly & would have no realistic prospect of passing a medical. Until that can be explained I'm not swayed.

Anyone else read threads like these and long for the days when the only news you got was in the Burnley Express and Evening Telegraph and the rumours pretty much stayed in the pub they were started in. Anyway, i’m off to ring clubcall, apparently we’ve signed someone.

Has it not ocurred to you that the operation and illness etc may have happened after the alleged failed Ajax move? It was the summer deadline last year that was rumoured.... A lot of time has passed between then and now. Just a thought

Far too many inconsistencies with it all for my liking. I respect that you don't agree. I seriously can't think of 1 thing that's gone right since the expressed frustration of the move not materialising.

Tresor had the operation after the reading game, not in the summer when he wanted the move. Tresor was back to fitness at Easter but at that stage we were on our important run of the season so Parker didn’t risk him.
Everyone can say what they want about what’s happened with him during the season but last season he wanted to leave, he was one in a list of players who wanted to leave and was one of the ones who didn’t get his move

Are you an actual real person?
I've been seeing your posts recently and none of them ever make sense.
You just said you are not suggesting anything but preceded that by saying " we don't know if it's a real scar"
That stament of yours was you playing a game of plausible deniability

The fact is that we don't know for sure if it is a real scar & even if it is nobody really knows how long the scars been there for. I deal with facts it might be palatable to some but there you are.

You are correct, inasmuch as we cannot be sure that MT's unavailability is as a direct result of whatever operation caused that scar.

We don't really know for sure that he had any operation. In fact there's few little things we can be sure about. The things we can be sure about is that he wanted to leave & for some unexplained reason he ended up staying & AP said he was fit but ended up not featuring. I try to concentrate on the facts that have emerged to formulate a opinion. Looking at when he briefly appeared at the reading game & when he was supposed to be poorly & when the Ajax move fell through you have inconsistent lapses.

Can I just ask a straight question? No dramas just if anyone knows where we are at with Mike?
Is he training/fit/ready to play/in and around the squad or something else?

Im pretty certain he came on a sub at Shrewsbury and he got a squad number in the initial list. They're the definite facts we know.

The club had a friendly against Man City u21’s the day we played lazio behind closed doors. He could have featured in that game although I’ve no idea if he did

It's hard to see him having a big part to play this season based off pre season. He doesn't seem to have been played in his strongest position from the start in any of the games we are aware of. He could have done in some of the lesser profile games but that would probably say it all.
Disappointing but Parker sees him more than us.

I’m pretty sure it’s common for players to get a Birds Eye view of training for them to discuss things in meetings.

Looks like it is him, but can't see anything on his Instagram. Who knows, perhaps he's firmly in parkers plans but it's hard to see how he gets on the pitch, particularly if we play 5 at the back. With the ability he has, he should br pushing Anthony for a start.

We'll be needing all the attacking options possible, he could be useful from the bench.
I hope we get him back playing, whatever the reason for his absence.

Seriously how good will it be to see a fit and well Mike Tresor playing for Burnley.
The lad has been through turmoil and for him to come out of the other side of it by making a telling contribution this season really would be the biggest wish I could have for him.
The same goes for Jordan Beyer.
Its often said but when Tresor and Beyer return from their respective injuries it will be like signing two new high quality players.
