Re: Koleosho gone
Often overlooked with players like Luca is they get forward so quickly there is nobody to actually play the ball to as they are still lumbering along behind

Re: Koleosho gone
I always found it amazing how willing some Burnley fans were to slate a lad who's still 20 now.
Most players that age are nowhere near a first team squad, never mind have done what he's done so far.

Re: Koleosho gone
Its just the fickle nature of this board. Trafford, slated. Parker, slated.
When we were relegated and Wolves were sniffing around luca, many on here were going ballistic that we'd even contemplate selling such a great player. Now he's rubbish again. No nuance, no perspective of time, just all in or all out.
Re: Koleosho gone
Good luck to him. Certainly showed real promise in his early days and a fresh start could be exactly what he needs.
Will be watching with interest.

Re: Koleosho gone
If he does well there's not a chance of him coming back here but if he doesn't do well is price will drop and he will be back here , personally i would have liked to keep him as he's only 20 and he will get more space in the Premier league like last time we were in this league...

Re: Koleosho gone
If he's old enough to take the money he's old enough for a bit of flack when under par. Most men at that age are nowhere near earning that sort of money & probably get a harder time at work than some grounded reasonable criticism. They would kill with both hands to be in his shoes.

They'd best knuckle down and get good at football thenJakubclaret wrote: ↑Fri Aug 22, 2025 1:10 pmIf he's old enough to take the money he's old enough for a bit of flack when under par. Re: Koleosho gone
He’s on a contract until 2029 so still plenty time to come good
Re: Koleosho gone
Espanyol played this evening & luca didnt get on again. Should we just recall him?
Re: Koleosho gone
Also completely ignoring the fact he’d spent a year out with a serious knee injury. They expected him to return instantly in top form, those kind of injuries take time to fully recover from, some players never do fully recover.

Re: Koleosho gone
Yeah in January, seems the loan been a disaster so far & with the exclusion of Tresor & Edwards. Maybe it is time to give luca a go for his pace in the last 20 mins in games?
Re: Koleosho gone
A ridiculous decision to sign Brun Larsen and loan out Luca.
Luca would be perfect for us, works his arse off defensively and frightening pace in behind on the counter attack.
