Not exactly his fault, the defender dropped him in the mire somewhat.

Spurs playing well and closing City down.

Richarlison's workrate is incredible.

Spurs score after VAR check but how long does it take to draw two lines on a computer?

Just shows what I know.

When I saw the team sheet last week I marked out Spence and Richarlison as their weak links, they were both exceptional against us and are again today.

Harsh on Trafford but he will probably get the blame for this scoreline, but it has nothing at all to do with his performance.

Spurs have dominated from start to finish and fully dserve a two goal lead.

Trafford made to look good behind a solid defence last season in a weak league.

We got a profit on him now so it’s funny to see the arrogant little **** make high profile mistakes for City

Maybe it’s not a bad idea to cash in on players who look top class when they’re still in the Championship.

Yet again the media and pundits get it all wrong.

Traff was superb last year, but only because SP gave him a platform to maximise his natural talent.

He isn't a keeper that can play as a sweeper with an exposed back line and isn't a natural player with the ball at his feet.

What he is elite at, is his lateral quickness across his line and reaction time.

Also, I think Spurs are just a good side this season, and our performance last week is massively going under the radar.

A strange comment and rather a small minded mentality for a player that played so well for us.

City have been awful, the whole side, including Trafford, although that takes the credit away from Spurs who have been excellent.

Trafford was very dozy for Spuds second. He should have played it to the outside of the player he was attempting to pass to but plays it to his inside leaving nowhere for the defender to turn except into trouble

Trafford is a very lucky boy there. He kicks Kudus and then knocks the ball away with his arm. Happened so fast you can understand the referee not penalising him but easily could've been a red card.

That's a quote from the BBC, not me BTW.

Good manager, isn't he?

Just keeps it (relatively) simple, makes good decisions, gives his players a platform....

Palhinha was a good signing. He's developed late in his career but ideal tall defensive midfielder.

I was not bothered when we sold Trafford because he is completely unproven in the prem. there’s a big difference between playing in the best defence in the league, to probably one of the worst.

He might do ok at city because he is behind a good defence, however pep won’t put up with mistakes like that

Can’t agree with that ,obviously had more protection last season but made some outstanding saves for us or had you forgotten the 2 pens against Sunderland?

Was pretty surprised that guardiola wanted him back and has thrown him straight in. He was outstanding for us last season and is a brilliant shot stopper but it is a totally different role at city. You’re basically being asked to be a sweeper and be as good with the ball at your feet as an outfield player and I haven’t seen any evidence he’s capable of that yet.

Weirdly I think if he’d have stayed with us although he’d have obviously conceded more goals he’d have come out of it looking better as he’d have had more shots to save to showcase his talents and less opportunities to make himself look daft trying to play out.

All elite level footballers have an air of arrogance about them in that they should believe they are the best, but I don’t think Trafford has an arrogant personality and was a hugely popular member of the squad whilst here.
