Not the easiest to drive to - when we've driven we've always parked at a park & ride and got the tram.

Word for the wise folks - in ground now but QR code in Google Wallet didnt work, what avoided a trip to the ticket office was the email sent out yesterday.

So get it downloaded.

p.s. get hydratedbefore you go in or ask for tap water free. This ropey club pours it all into a plastic cup, shambolic at £3 a bottle.

General information thread, you said don’t bother with the app.

It’s not helpful to maybe those who travel with kids or like to travel in a different way to yourself.

Scare story, singular please, I sucked up the £3.90 loss but decided it wasn’t my preferred chilled way of travelling, not everyone glides around waving their phones.

Re Crosspools , if he’s still here, download the app, and a buy a weekend ticket for £9.30 is what I would do in your circumstances. Less faff.

However I stand to be corrected.

I used tap on and off on the tram, to the game and have been charged £2.80. First time I've ever used it, very easy.

4 of us, ended up using Uber to the ground, 1340, £8.98, picked up by Mitre dropped at Hotel Football at 1400. Uber back, £17, picked up by Poloma roundabout, dropped at Lower Turks Head, who we met in the pub had walked there quicker though! Bit more expensive but more convenient.

You used to just about get away with being on the edge of Media City (around the Premier Inn) but it just seems mega busy everywhere now.

Managed to jump on a bus on Chester Road then x43 from Shudenhill and back in Rossendale for 7 so not bad going.
