I'd rather he just suffered embarrassment wherever he went. I've no desire to see his dependants suffer for his views, and I've even less interest in my taxes subsidising him for the remainder of his working days

A bit deep into social politics for a messageboard but MT herself made no secret of her desire to break community spirit, which has been the trend for successive governments since. She wanted to adopt the American right wing values… and we’ve followed them pretty much ever since.
