Is it purely on ‘X’, because there’s no way I’ll watch on that platform?

Neither will I. Was on it for years and enjoyed the politics, discussions, history. I felt I learnt lots. Now it’s been taken over by angry, rude and ignorant people just spreading any lie they want. It is vile now. And ….Musk!

It’s an odd partnership choice (the one with ‘X’) from our board, and I say that as someone who generally backs them.

As the post above says, it’s a cesspit of hate, political interference and misinformation. Aside from that, it’s not been any fun on there even before Musk got his hands on it.

Like you allude to it has been a mess politically for quite some time even before Musk got his hands on it. The FBPE brigade had free reign and anyone not agreeing was rounded on. What I do find amusing is the throwing the toys out of the pram by those of that persuasion..like it was a paragon of virtue before Musk took over. In my opinion it is less extreme than it was before even if it has veered to the right. Nevertheless I still don't want politics dominating my feed. Then there's the bots and the moderation is certainly poorer.
I've learnt and programmed my follows to purely football now and friends I can trust not to tag me in to their political views. Transfer gossip and footy/cricket news .So this collaboration suits me for how I use X.
It's actually not too difficult to get it how you want it..but then again with some people that's not really the issue is it? :D

I did try and only follow/interact with accounts I was interested in, but it was too far gone for my tastes and there was always some miscreant who would insert themselves into any innocuous conversation to act like an arse. If you’re still getting something from the platform, that’s great, I’m a lot happier away from it.

I don’t see anything like that on X but that must be because I am careful who I follow and never click open comments below a post, and turn notifications off. I like the intelligent debate on football and politics from well known people and rarely see the bile that is often from some bot pretending to be real and stirring the pot.

This is excellent by BFC and I’m looking forward to it.

Anyway, I’m sure I’ll find out what’s going on.

You only need to look at Tesla’s recent drastic drop-off in sales across Europe to know plenty of people think the same.

There was a time when Britain wasn’t keen on people who do ‘Sieg Heil’ salutes.

Anyway, the thread is getting sidetracked. Enjoy to those who watch!

It’s not (just) because of the owner ….I decided my life would probably be better by not logging on and seeing videos of people being beaten up or spouting hate. And somehow , magically, it is.

More likely there's more choice in that line of car than there was just a few years ago, and cheaper.

Yep, incredibly grateful for Musk & X for this.

I see he has also donated $1m to a fund which will aim to create murals of her around the country. Seems a nice gesture.

Just a heads up, just discovered the X app on my Smart TV has been discontinued in August (for all TVs), so small devices only. A bit bemusing given Musk’s power and wealth, you’d think it would enhance audience share.

I may try my Amazon Fire Stick because a series like this will be better enjoyed on a big screen. My ability to see clearly on a small screen isn’t what it was.

They’ve either got their days mixed up, it’s at 4pm US time ((in one of their time zones) even though it’s says BST or someone thinks 16:00 is 6pm.

That's a really bizarre comment. I'm a Burnley fan because I'm from the town and support the club, not to watch our players go on a flat viewing

I doubt that these are of much interest to those who aren’t Burnley fans, but I’m liking them and they’re well done.

Parker, Barnes and perhaps even more so, Esteve, come across really well. It won’t happen but I’d love Esteve to stay for years to come, I’m sure we all would!

Great to see what looks to be a really together group.

Can’t say that was my favourite episode. Don’t really think it played enough in to our opponents - two massive clubs - to draw their fans to it and then hopefully keep them watching the series. You could’ve had loads of behind the scenes stuff at Spurs and United to appeal to their fans.

Also felt it should have started at the end of last season and shown the prep in terms of planning for the season, squad analysis, target identification, pre-season planning, etc.

A bit bland being about Barnes coming to the end of his career and a flat viewing, but enjoyed it all the same.

Just sign up to the major social media platforms and you get the latest output from your desired sites.

They will then track the remainder of your life and probably sell any remotely promising crap to anyone who could make a couple of quid.

AI is the new dawn.
