No!
I am starting to feel a little nervous. The Champions of England are in town and we will give them a game....

No, just about everyone on here under the age of 55 would have given their right arm to see us ever play in the top flight again, I treat every year at this level like it might be the last.
If we were late in the season and getting humped every week then I could kind of see the logic but this is an exciting side taking shape and I expect one of the big boys to get a bloody nose from us at the Turf this season.

Just watching the bin dippers and ‘tourists’ walking down Manchester Rd has removed any danger of apathy for me!

I think that some people may have misunderstood or misinterpreted what I wrote. Or maybe I didn't explain it clearly in the OP?
It's not necessarily Liverpool whom I always expect to lose to although I always hope for a win, it is the feeling in general about PL football.
I am immensely proud of our club, manager, players and the vast majority of our fans. It is just that I am absolutely sick of everything that the Premier League stands for and there is a big part of me wishes that we could compete in a more equal league without all the corruption and cheating.
After saying all that I will still be there today cheering on the lads hoping for a win.

I watched the championship games yesterday and then I watched the west ham game. The championship was far more entertaining, I actually turned the west ham game off through boredom. Even half the crowd couldn't be arsed coming back for the second half kick off.

Not at all.
The nerves might start to set in a bit, though, when we’re 1-0 up going into the last 5 minutes.
