Won't be any Burnley FC stewards at Burnley's Biggest Bonfire at LHCC on the 1st November after Burnley v Arsenal! ;)

Well, unless they are doubling up haha

You love stiring the pot and making folk like FCBurnley hardwork after any LHCC defeat, yet you've not been near Lowerhouse in about 10 years.

Surely it's not affecting bcc as a business, the cricket season has finished, the football club is a bonus to the cricket club because how near it is. No other cricket club at that level have so much income in the close season, now the FC is in the prem aswell means the away end is full most games.
If BCC has less custom on football match days then obviously it will affect them as a business.

The cricket club should not be counting football matches into their business plan, the football match weekends are a bonus which they have to try and make as much as possible, but the FC have no need to help them.

Why shouldn’t they include the trade they do on football match days in their business plan? They’d be stupid not to.

Moronic comment.

Should every pub/social club in Burnley also not factor football matches into their business plan as well then?

The clue is in the title, (cricket club) , so anything else out of season is nothing they can take for granted, so will be impossible to plan for. Because like what's happened, changes have been made by the football club and it's got nothing to do with the cricket club, yet people like you think it's unfair.

I think it would be good if the football club improved their offering to tempt people away from other establishments on matchday - such as the cricket club - rather than try to make it more difficult to use these traditional alternatives and hope fans therefore spend more money at the ground. It’s pretty negative, and it doesn’t benefit fans at all.

Your post makes no sense at all. The cricket social club is a business, and as such can determine who uses their facilities and when. If another neighbouring business is actively taking steps which impact on this by attempting to prevent people from accessing it on certain days of the year then obviously they are unfairly adversely affected.

Not a chance the football club are stopping people going in, I don't usually go in, but after the Liverpool game we did, and at no point was we stopped from walking up belvedere Rd and down the entrance to the cricket club. All we was asked to do was walk on the opposite side of the road from the coaches.

That was after the game though, which seems to not be where the majority of issues have been occurring.....

You might be right that they can't take it as certainty that Burnley FC will play 19 PL games this season - though frankly the chances of them not doing are pretty small - but they can still make plans as if they are going to. You plan for all eventualities. you wouldn't expect a toy shop to keep its stocks low in case Christmas is cancelled this year!

No idea what you're trying to articulate.
Burnley FC can operate as they like, what they can't do, is prevent people from using roads/access points to go to other businesses.

More or less every single business (certainly pubs and clubs) in Burnley that offers some sort of hospitality/service will be dynamically responding to fixture changes or anything else related to Burnley FC, because it's the single most significant point of interest in the town, bar none.

Do you think FryDays or whatever doesn't stock up more on matchdays? After all, nothing to do with Burnley FC.. the clue is in the name

So does that mean the football club shouldn’t have a business plan for non match days or when the season finishes given the clue is also in their name?
