Ffs. Please somebody just tell us what's going on with Tresor.
Surely he earnt a start by basically winning us the game in the last round
Also the bench suggests we really dont care about going out. None of the big guns there to bail us out.

Absolutely. It's very disappointing, as is 3 cbs.

11 changes, but that’s still a strong side.

May be the formation? Tricky for the left wing.

Three at the back plus wing backs seems to be the option again

Will we see Flemming playing in his favoured #10 being Broja?

The main reservation is that there isn’t a lot of experience to bring on if things are going wrong

Is that a record transfer cost for a reserve team for Burnley?!

Yeah I thought the same. Is he just not in our plans any more and we're waiting for someone to sign him? If so, it surely can't be enticing any other teams when he isn't playing

People fuming before we kick off. That's the spirit.
That squad is more than capable than beating a league 1 side.
Tresor isn't starting because Parker hasn't picked him

Clearly the manager doesn't see him as better than any of that starting 11
Based on seeing him everyday and not just a few minutes during a game

Yeah, great that eh ! £18m for a non starter.
I agree that we should have enough to probably get a win v a league one side in the carabao Cup, but to still be at this stage re Trésor, not exactly good is it. Understandable that people are not happy about the situation. Let's see if he gets any game time eh, because if not it could beg the question why the hell is he in the 25

Maybe SP thinks it might be a bit unfair to start Tresor ahead of some of the squad players who have played regular but are now missing out on game time in the Prem?

It's a very decent starting XI, notwithstanding I'm a little unsure of our formation or the roles everyone will play, but the bench is certainly an odd one. Parker must be reckoning on not needing to look beyond Tresor and/or Barnes! We'll see!

Good to see a couple starting, hoping they can finish 90 minutes unscathed, and of course a win.

I think...
Brierly is an under 18 midfielder, he's very small
Pouani is an under 18 midfielder
Campbell is a defender (from what I've seen he's a prospect)
Pimlott is a left back or left wing-back
Clarke is a midfielder, recently signed.

Most of them are making a real case for why the squad need match practice - they are playing like they haven't played in years.
On the flip-side Cardiff are well up for it.

I hope we tip The Samaritans the wink before we do finally part with Tresor, whenever that may be.
His departure will rip so large a hole in the psyches of such a worrying number of Burnley fans they may never fully recover.
