Re: 2025/26: Burnley v Cardiff City – Cup Ticket Information
I’ve had to move from the back of the Longside Upper, so I’ve bought a ticket for the back row of the Bob Lord. I apologise to the person whose seat I’ve pinched.
Actually, as a one off, I’m rather looking forward to watching the match from a totally different angle, but I’ll be glad to get back to my usual seat for the following league game.

So not opening all the blocks in the limited stands that are opening - bizarre

They probably will do, if the other blocks sell out.BleedingClaret wrote: ↑Thu Sep 04, 2025 6:57 pmSo not opening all the blocks in the limited stands that are opening - bizarre

They don’t make it easy do they? We’ve opted for the Lord, simply because of the weather implications. Hopefully I haven’t chosen seats with a pillar blocking the goals.dougcollins wrote: ↑Thu Sep 04, 2025 1:51 pmBeing Season Ticket holders only today, I assumed my seat in the North Stand Lower would be held for me, but of course BFC like to think up new hells for us, and all our three seats are already sold.
So I'll sulk like my NU friends and watch on the TV.
And glare at the people in our seats if I can see them on the telly.

They don’t do logic. They don’t even tell you fully what they are doing. Two blocks unavailable in the Bob Lord and four in the Longside lower.BleedingClaret wrote: ↑Thu Sep 04, 2025 6:57 pmSo not opening all the blocks in the limited stands that are opening - bizarre
Cardiff Tickets
Am I going mad, or can you only buy tickets in the lower tiers of James Hargreaves or Jimmy Mac only and nowhere else?

Should be Bob Lord as well... unless its sold out...?
For the last cup game, I couldn't buy a ticket in the CFS even though it was open... I had to call the ticket office to get one.

Re: Cardiff Tickets
not going mad…none of the upper tier stands are available for this fixture - very disappointing…it should be ‘only’ upper tier if they want to limit availability.
Unfortunately there were more stewards than home fans in the Cricketfield against Derby! 🫤

Re: Cardiff Tickets
That is crap. I don't like the views in the lower stands. I'll have to resort to watching a stream then. Re: Cardiff Tickets
I noticed this last night. Either the Bob Lord has completely sold out or they’ve stopped selling tickets in there so that they can get more in the lower tiers.

Re: Cardiff Tickets
Exactly the same when I tried to order tickets on line yesterday and today. Just the Bee hole and longside lowers
My dad went down to the ticket office and got 2 for the BL today.
I know I left it late but I had work travel plans cancelled on Sunday due to an imminent Cyclone. I think that’s a good excuse.

Re: Cardiff Tickets
Just checked- I couldn't identify any seats in the BL either.
Loads left in the JML, scattered ones in the NSL.

Re: Cardiff Tickets
Agreed. Im sure if people ring the ticket office they will be available. Bit of a ridiculous scenario though.Winstonswhite wrote: ↑Mon Sep 22, 2025 8:50 pmThere’s no way in the world that the BL has sold out.
For the Derby game when I called the ticket office to buy a ticket in the CFS, they had no idea they weren't available online. They sorted it out, but all a bit of a mess.
Re: Cardiff Tickets
Doesn't exactly help tempt people at the last minute.
Re: Cardiff Tickets
I would have gone on if NU stand was open, but am going to watch from home on SKY+ with a beer or 2.

Re: 2025/26: Burnley v Cardiff City – Cup Ticket Information
How about this for a "ticket tale" ?
Planned to take my two grandsons on the Cardiff game. Went online - nothing, I mean nothing shown as available to book. All stands shown, lower tiers with a green block number, except the end blocks in each stand. Upper tiers left totally blank.
Absolutely no individual seats shown as available. Changed my requirement from 3 to 1 ticket - no effect whatsoever. Tried several different ways to sort it but to no avail.
Following day, paid a visit to the ticket office. First of all I was that I could only by one ticket, unless my grandson's had their own clarets number. Luckily, one of them is a season ticket holder and so I could order one for him. As it turned out, because he doesn't have an email address (10 yrs old), the ticket had to be emailed to his dad, who then would have to forward the ticket to me by email. On to my 2nd grandson, (9yrs old) who doesn't have a clarets number. Eventually determined that my partner's clarets number could be used as she's not going to the game. She would get the ticket via email and then she would have to forward the ticket to me, again by email.
With the procedure now established, the process was completed. I received a notification on my 'phone of an email almost immediately. That will be your tickets I'm advised. "Do you want me to put it in your wallet for you ?" asked the very helpful lady.
I gave her my 'phone and she, in great surprise, said oh, you've got all 3 tickets in your email !!! That's not supposed to happen. Well, I'll put them all in your wallet.
Checked with my son in law and partner and neither had received an email !!!!
I did ask, what happened to " can I please have 1 senior and two junior tickets please for the Cardiff game ? Here's £20. Then walk out with 3 paper tickets.

I was going to go with 2 of my mates who don’t go to many matches but I can’t buy them tickets and the is no way they will be bothered to get a clarets number etc …
It’s a shame really but gone are the days where you could just spontaneously go to a Burnley match with your mates who just fancied a few beers and a match

Bob Lord still available in the ticket office
Re: 2025/26: Burnley v Cardiff City – Cup Ticket Information
They've probably knocked a few thousand off the attendance with this approach. All they needed to do was close the Jimmy Mac upper and the cricket field stand for home fans leaving a capacity of about 13000

I knew that the club has been strongly encouraging digital sales of tickets for a long time but I didn't realise they had totally stopped selling physical ticketsFunkydrummer wrote: ↑Mon Sep 22, 2025 9:24 pmHow about this for a "ticket tale" ?

Looks like it.
My father in law bought two for tonight and asked for a printed ticket as he had been given one for the Derby game. He was told, in polite and respectful manner he stressed, that if he wanted a printed out ticket then he could get it done from his email at the library for free.

Perhaps someone needs telling in a polite and respectful manner to stick this process where the sun doesn't shine
Re: 2025/26: Burnley v Cardiff City – Cup Ticket Information
I'd be quite happy printing a ticket off, just didn't think it was an option based on posts on here.claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 23, 2025 4:14 pmPerhaps someone needs telling in a polite and respectful manner to stick this process where the sun doesn't shine
Re: 2025/26: Burnley v Cardiff City – Cup Ticket Information
I've never had the need to try it, but I'm sure I read on here that there was no option to print off tickets
But then again I read you cannot transfer tickets in the CFS but know 2 none season ticket holders who went in on Saturday on other people's season tickets.....who knows?
Re: 2025/26: Burnley v Cardiff City – Cup Ticket Information
I got a physical ticket when I went into the ticket office, when I was told it would be digital I told them I didn't have the capability to print off a ticket. When told I could use my phone,I told them it wasn't clever enough to do that as my phone is a long way off being classed as a " smart phone". So they printed it off. But that was last week so things could have changed by now.JohnDearyMe wrote: ↑Tue Sep 23, 2025 2:29 pmI knew that the club has been strongly encouraging digital sales of tickets for a long time but I didn't realise they had totally stopped selling physical tickets

First moan of the night.
CFS end turnstile block of Bob Lord Stand has only three open turnstiles (out of four) and ever increasing queues approaching kick off.

I bought 2 tickets on Monday afternoon and received an email with the links to add 2 tickets to my wallet. Smashing
Following morning, I received another email (different order number and seat numbers) with 2 more tickets for my wallet.
Tremendous value but the two extra people that went with me were probably wishing they hadn't
