Based on what we saw on Tuesday, I find it amazing that he could pick Edward’s and/or Broja ahead of Tresor

Something just doesn't add up with Mike thought he would have made the bench at the very least..

Scotty phoned MT up saying he was going to include him in the match day squad to which MT replied "nah, I can't be arsed. I'll pick up my huge wage and stay in bed". Two wasted years with this over valued clown.

I don't think this is the game for Tresor at all, so can't say I'm that surprised he hasn't made the bench.

I agree, we need players with at least some defensive ability.
I can see us setting new records for lack of possession today.

Humphries can cover centre back and left back. No need whatsoever for Pires to be on the bench as well ahead of Tresor.

Predict it will be 1-0 to them by halftime, after a deflected shot goes into the goal. Second half they pull away and win 5-1.

If we concede early, I think it'll be the other way. 3 or 4-0 at half time, then 1 or 2 in the second half.

I'm OK with that.
No point going after City. It's very unlikely to get anything other than the usual battering.
A smash and grab or a Dyche battle is fine for me.

Afternoon all from a very pleasant 20c here in Belgrade, not expecting much points wise just hoping for a solid performance. And after Tuesday night's debacle where is Tresor? What a bizarre situation.

That is positive. He needs to somehow get on the bench without anybody noticing.

It wouldn't be positive, it would be a bloody miracle, given he isn't even on the bench!

Call me mad, but we've got a chance with Rodri missing out.
Ever since Pep joined City, they tend to be a touch more 'vulnerable' when they don't play a dominant DM

Afternoon all.
For all those wondering what role Magic Mike could play here, I would pose the question “what if we go 1 or 2 down”? We need game changers.
Parker has a lot of strengths but his side is often like a join the dots kids exercise - there is only one way it tends to go and we could all name the XI and bench easily, e.g. I knew Lesley wouldn’t play today because he had a game midweek.
We may need flexibility and flair today. But overall his pragmatic approach may work across 38 games, I’m all for giving him a chance.
EDIT - the goal went in just as I pressed Submit.

Yes. More worried though when they said "it's in" just then when they scored after 12 minutes...

Did I miss something or was that not the most blatant handball you have ever seen from Harland on the half way line just before that goal?
